If I receive a notice from Amazon, Marylou, I will post it here. I tend to agree with you, and doubt that Amazon will take the time to send out notices when your book is available. I see that several private sellers have copies available now but I would not expect Amazon to send out notices for them. It will all work out...

I tried one of the private sellers on Amazon marketplace, but the order was cancelled shortly afterwards. So I don't think they have it, which is a bit shady. | |

Hello Orgers My apologies for being 'off the grid' for nearly three weeks. I have been in Antarctica and South Georgia presenting a photo expedition (that's my job - I own a nature photo tour company). As a close friend of Marylou's and the one who started this thread, I wanted to reply to a few concerns on the thread and in messages, in regards to ordering the book.... Firstly, as posted, Marylou is doing everything in her power to get things right for the release of the book. Dealing with Amazon has been unbelievably frustrating! For those that may be a bit concerned as to anything being not legit, I can assure you that Marlylou is the most honest, genuine person you could possible meet. Yes, you WILL all receive your book but there have been lots of glitches with Amazon etc. Please be patient as the reward, once you read this book, will be worth it! No, this isn't just a sales spiel, but once again I will tell you all that you be reading about a side of Prince that will amaze you, will make you laugh and even shed a tear or two, remembering the musical genius we lost. Thought I’d dip back in ... been having continued drama with amazon ... would you believe they list it might be available from private sellers? It’s only just NOW printing. Meanwhile, Amazon in Spain, France, and Denmark list the book as available. And, YES, there is a paperback coming ... problem from the printer on that so doesn’t show at all at the online sellers. I have personally gotten my first shipment for autographed copies (already sold out) which hit the post later today heading to those who purchased them. I have ordered a second shipment for those I couldn’t fulfill and should have those in a couple of weeks. Meanwhile, I’m putting constant updates on my Facebook page ... MOments Remembering Prince. There will be an ebook ... sometime in early 2018 ... working on that now. And a question for so you Prince fans ... any interest in an Audiobook? I’m looking into that as well and will only consider it if enough people are keen. Thanks to everyone for your patience. You are doing better than Prince would in the situation. He’d have everyone scrambling to “FIX IT”. Better get back 2 the phones ..... | |

It's Christmastime so miracles DO HAPPEN. Amazon USA, Canada, and UK have JUST added the hardcover in an "active" state so you can order!!!!!!!!!!!! (Amazon Spain, France, and Denmark already have it listed and active) If you had pre-ordered earlier and had your order cancelled, you will need to re-order now. Don't be put off by their "out of stock" ... OF COURSE it's out of stock. Just printing now and it's a POD (print on demand) which means any order Amazon gets goes straight to the distributor/printer who fulfills it directly to the customer.
I am STILL working on getting the paperback up and running (printer/distributor issue) and will notify you the minute I know more. I REALLY appreciate EVERYONE's patience on this!!!! Happy Holidays to ALL!!!!

Thank you so much for the update, Marylou; your devotion to this book is such a testament to who you are...I cannot wait to read your memories. As you suspected, Amazon did not send an alert to say that the book was now avaiable, however, that's Amazon. I did order this morning, and I was pleased to see that the "other sellers" option is now gone. Best wishes for a successful launch!
