Yes, that is often the case for me and it is almost always something I heard the past week or saw it mentioned on the org. Today it is Cherry Cherry.

a song I periodically come back to, it's so good. A real merging of his classic sound and the 90's R'n'B stuff he was mostly doing at the time, and all the better for it. I wonder would Emancipation have been a much better album if it almost all had guitar like this song?

I've notcied when I come to this thread, I always get GREAT ideas for future songs to be stuck in my head.... but for now it's:

ESCAPE! Free Yo Mind From This Rat Race!! and my favorite lyric from the song is:

"It's more hard 2 love than it is 2 hate"

Please, take some time to listen to a song where all the little details MATTER! Everytime I hear it, I catch something NEW! Love Love Love IT!!! (the extended version is the version of my choice)

Arboretum on repeat today. Looks like MN is in for another classic thunderstorm due to the darkening skies. Resigned to being indoors i tend towards instramental and/or classical piano pieces on days like this. I love this song and wish it were longer (and that he had done more of this music). It's beautiful and mood-leveling making me feel bright despite the darkness and approaching thunder. The fact that i've been to the place that inspired the song doesn't hurt either wink
