Take a listen to Bambi Monterux night 3. worst guitar solo ever on that song and he was always playing greatr on that song

This is right. But i think he did not feel the vibe. Listen to dancing close and slow. He played a wonderful solo. Fast runs and nice melody with cool rhythm. But I don't like the 3rdeye and the sound of this band.

Yes the one you mention is one of the best guitar solos he did during 3rd eye era

Yes I think so too. And some solos from Amsterdam Paradiso. I was there on both concerts and he rocked the guitar like a monster. And it make it looked so easily.
Wonderful.

I feel Prince's guitar playing during the 3rdEyeGirl shows/era was on fire and rockin', but I have to admit when I see him play with them there is something missing for me as a unit. It sux too I am a woman who loves rock and all things Prince and lives for when Prince rocks the guitar. So this is a perfect fit for me in theory. There is just something forced or off with the 3rdEyeGirl backing band and I don't want it to be true in my mind, but it is. I have watched numerous shows of them together and heard all the albums, and I don't know, there is some lack of magic together as a unit. This is just my personal opinion. And maybe it would have been a little different if I saw them live together so there is that. The band just didn't seem to support Prince live like I feel they could or should have.

The band is fine to me for what it was. It wasn't meant to be the greatest rock band ever. I've seen video footage of some the shows from London and Manchester and I think Prince's guitar playing is on fire. But that's just my opinion. I know there were comments here from people who thought the Piano and Microphone shows sucked. I thought they were some of his best shows ever. Maybe I'm in the minority.

I always cringe when I read those comments. Pearls before the swine. I think they're a part of a very vocal minority.
