I have Tidal and I was soooo bummed when Emacipation and 3121 were dropped.. I'm not particulary loyal to Tidal, I joined because it had hard to find Prince music..now one nite alone after party is gone and crystal ball. I quickley bought the rare ones so I have them safely in my posssion. They need to work this out..I want my Prince music, where is it??!!

It is not the family it is Breamer. They have a duty per the court to monitize the estate. If Tidal deal said that the music could be up exclusively for 90 days then Breamer is free to have it pulled off.

I am not sure why they want it pulled off as it must bring in some revenue and we have not seen anything turn up on the other services. The other services are not going to pay the estate an upfront fee so why not keep it on Tidal and put it on other services.

Why is Tidal being cut out? Hopefully the family will put things back when they take over.

Musicology is now gone.

I wonder if they can sell albums at PP or the celebrations? When I was there in October, there weren't any for sale. I hope to go to the April celebration (at least a couple of the days), and would seriously buy the music I have missed out on. Or maybe the PP online store would sell them? I was planning on buying Musicology today on Tidal, but since it's gone...

Never joined Tidal but I feel somewhat saddened by P's music being erased like this. I sincerely hope that it leads to better things are far as digital distribution.

Question for everyone: Has anyone burned the MP3/FLAC files they purchased from Tidal to CD?

ATWIAD is toast, though, as is Parade, Crystal Ball (but not The Truth), the One Nite Alones, Emancipation, Rave Un2 and 3121.

Oops... yes, of course. Forgot about that as I never use Tidal anymore, since, you know, ripping all the albums I want from it and storing them on my hard drive. Haha..

They have 1999: The New Master and I know everyone will want to scramble to download that one before it gets taken down.

And now we're back to Tidal's horrible excuse for a layout. One should be able to search "Prince" and get all the "And The Revolution" options among the results without needing a seperate search.

How hard is that?

I'm from the Czech Republic. Before I typed "Where's the bloody single market when we need it...", I looked at Tidal and HITnRUN Phases reappered! C-Note is also back, as is The Black Album. Weird.

The Gold Experience is also back.
