The Prince4Chrismas campaign has got just as much chance to succeed as the other campaigns. This has happened before with the most unlikely song (http://teamrock.com/featu...he-machine). The fact that the other campaigns are advertised is just a technique to influence the masses and discourage other - very valid - campaigns.

And this is also exactely why Prince fans need to UNITE and MAKE IT HAPPEN. Out of curiosity, have you personnally contributed to the campaign in any way?

We're certainly not going to cross the water by just staring at it. We've still got some time to turn things round IF WE WANT TO. After all, the last time I checked, the Christmas Campaign for the Spice girls on facebook only had 200 adherents (we've got 356) and they have very little input from those participants.

Our advantage is that our campainers are we all very active and motivated. There are also many Prince fans out there and if everyone stops the skepticism and quicken the pace instead, yes it will happen.

Here is our latest campaign ad, anyone feel free to copy and post it wherever you like.

I think Cherry is doing an amazing job and I plan on supporting this campaign as much as possible. I think, if anything, Prince would admire the tenacity, even if we're not ultimately successful. Faint heart never won fair maiden, so let's go for it!

A general tweet @BBC6Music requesting them to play Prince, The Cross, as well as Moonbeam Levels, accompanied by #prince4xmas and #MOONBEAMLEVELS would be great, especially if as many of us as possible do it between now and Christmas.

The same can be done with BBC Radio 2 @BBCRadio2 This is the most popular radiostation in the UK, though they're not as flexible as Radio 6 in terms of requests.

We have just published a poll on Twitter, asking how many tracks people would be prepared to download / purchase between 16-22 December in order to try and get Prince into the Christmas charts.

Depending on the results we would then list a few titles based on the original pre-selection of choices (the songs that were initially voted for the most) and starting with The Cross so that people who feel like it can then proceed to download a second track on the list, then a third, etc. It will have to be done in the right order for our efforts to have the desired impact.

The first three songs were originally selected and voted for by fans through two polls and we've just added Moonbeam Levels to the list. You can choose to download ONE OR MORE of these songs, as long as you download them in that particular order, and not before 16 December.
