Mavis Staples version is better!

Much prefer Prince's version. Although, Mavis has some great songs on her Paisley Park albums such as "Time Waits for No One".

Maybe Mavis can perform it at the upcoming memorial. That would be awesome!

The fact that I didn't even remember she did it, should tell you enough. And I have that album! But The Voice is a very uneven album. The first half is Mavis singing songs written for her by Prince backed by the NPG and it's fantastic. In fact, I think they sound better here than on Prince's own albums! House In Order, The Undertaker, that's the sound of the NPG on the 1993 tour translated to the recording studio. The rest of the album is a mess. What's the point of redoing songs that have already been released on Prince's own albums? And the non-Prince songs sound totally out of place.

yes , yes and yes

Lovesexy is my favorite Prince album and for me too, no skips on this whole gem.

Positivity is a funky, powerful and loving creation. So good and so true!

Positivity is a perfect closing for a perfect album. As the music goes by you experience so many sonorities...that´s what I love about Prince; you never know which way the music will turn.
