its not their property...they cant just come in and waltz around..also, in a death investigation the scene of the death would probably be sealed until all warrants and subsequent seraches are excuted esp iif the ME hadnt issued a cause of death yet..I could be wrong

I believe Carver Co. released PP back to the family on Friday the 22nd. Then they had a small, private rememberance with a few friends and family members on the 23rd. The DEA served a search warrant on May 10th. I don't believe PP was ever declared a "crime scene". I'm thinking that I am correct on that.

I dont think its just a Prince holding on to his youth (although it could be) . People who have been exposed to this degree of superstardom would go to any lengths to keep such things quiet. I would. I think Elvis had the same probelm of covering up his massive druge use. When you are known for having an anti-drug image, getting conventional help is not an option. The fall and shame would be to great to bare. At the last moment , someone was tying to convince him but I will bet that he agreed to it kicking and screaming.

I don't think he would have been kicking and screaming. In the beginning of this I might have saw him that way but now I don't see him that way at all. Resistant? Highly likely. Throwing a fit? Probably not. One hand I think he did anything in his power not to have to let go until he dropped, on the other hand he could have had so much on his plate that he keep up appearances and just barreled through.

Per Billboard.com Tests on Prince prior to his death did not show fentanyl in his system, which means he wasn't a long-time abuser of that drug, but likely took the fatal dose sometime in the 24 hours before he died, the official said. Which means it would have to be some serious tests to show one to be a longtime abuser. Now if those test include whatever they did in Moline then, he did not od on fentanyl even then because he had no fentanyl in his system.
Fentanyl is cheeap, cheaper than most other substances. I've read dealers have been know to brag about ods because it shows how powerful their product is.

I saw this same Billboard article and did feel some vindication for Prince. It proves what we've all been saying from the start. HE WASN'T AN ADDICT. He also hasn't been the only one to die from a Fentanyl overdose when they thought they were taking a weaker pain medication. The more I'm learning about this whole situation the more awful it is. If you suffer from chronic pain, you get to a point where you're willing to try something from one of the million online pharmacies out there. There were a few times when I came close to purchasing something online for severe migraines but I was too afraid that I wouldn't get what I was paying for. I believe I read either in the Billboard article or another article that when he was tested in Moline there was no fentanyl in his system but it was an overdose of something else (I believe it was Percocet but since I can't remember the source...don't quote me on that). My heart keeps breaking with every new story because it's so obvious that it wasn't his time and this should have never happened.

Were there any other incidents of fentanyl overdose that have been tied to these mislabeled pills? I ask seriously, because if there wasn't, then a one off mislabel batch of pills of this kind with deadly amounts of fentanyl in each individual pill raises huge red flags. (for me) Because if it was just some random one time mix up and misdosing of the pills by the manufacture, the chances of them landing in Princes hands would be slim to none.

--There are articles going back last year going back to last about fake pills in Minn and North Dakota. Not sure why drug dealers want to kill their customers.

They don't. They just want money and a lot of them view things in the short term.

No, for me it shows he'll do illegal things. I have no idea if the pain was that severe or if it's due to having a dependency. All this shows was he wasn't addicted to some very powerful stuff. There's still a lot of questions on what those flu-like symtoms were, why he wasn't eating properly and why he lost over 13lbs.

And what if Prince remained captain of his own ship and left them out of it so that if anything happened it would all fall on him and not them? Pointing fingers does nothing for nobody right now.

Everybody got a lawyer so they could have advice on how to conduct themselves and when to and not to talk. It's a smart thing to do when you're that close to a criminal investigation, it is not evidence of wrong doing. Time will tell then you can go all ballastic.

Just to clear up why I believe foul play Prince most likely had a PAIN problem...not an addiction problem...

Those 2 things aren't mutually exclusive. People who get addicted to pain meds usually do so because they've been prescribed them for pain.

There's no "foul play" beyond one of Prince's underlings/friends/yesmen getting him something to ward off the withdrawals/treat the pain, which accidentally killed him and ultimately got whoever provided the drugs in a shit load of trouble.

That's what's going to come out when the dust settles and which will explain the delays in the investigation and the information. Figuring out who provided him with the "hot shot" pills would take a lot of legwork and a lot of time, especially if one were trying to build a case that could be strongly prosecuted. They'll find out who it was and charges will be brought, but they have to build a case first.

The question is, when this happens, how many of the murder consparicy advocates will believe it? I'd say roughly 20 - 25% of the people here will cling to the far fetched idea that someone took Prince out, for reasons I still can't ascertain, and cling to the murder theory like "Building 17 9/11 Truthers". At the end of the day, Prince was worth a lot more to most people alive than he was dead, at least in the long term.
