Charlene Friend and Big Ang (Angela Raiola) aren't the same person.

Shady is not even the word for some of those ratchet hood boogers. Lawd

I know P was going through a lot of family turmoil and was anxious to start his musical journey, but I wonder if P earned all his graduation credits and attended his high school graduation ceremony. I'd love to see a picture of him in a cap and gown.

Look what he was able to accomplish without a college degree.

Inspiring.

According to Bernadette Anderson, P doubled up on his credits and finished school early.never mentioned a graduation ceremony though. Tyka dropped out at 16 and ran away, iirc.

Wow.

He did the same thing that I did. So, he got a head start on his dream. Cool.

Now she looks like a straight up opportunist to me. It was a matter of time.

Personally, I found this article to be one of the WORST I've read...totally unsubstantiated and Prince and Duane not available to confirm or deny. I think PEOPLE magazine should be ashamed of themselves.

Yeah, there's nothing new in the People article. Many people have commented on Prince's going days without sleeping or eating, and then crashing afterwards, and there is really only two things that make that physically possible for any human being, even P - psychosis or stimulants like cocaine.

Like friends and family when they start behaving oddly and their work suffers, there is trigger. Whether it just be emotional turmoil, medical, or illicit drugs.
After the hyper dramatic decline in his work in 88, his gaunt and sickly appearance at times in the early 90's. People started speculating on drugs. I know I did. His work went from that of an incredibly brilliant artist to "..yeah that bad" at the flick of a switch.

Apologists at the time said it was bullshit. I said it would all eventually come out. It always does. Just like it's all coming out now.
For those who supposedly cared about him, the signs were always there. People knew. Some just just found it easier to turn their head and look the other way.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that P's career was fueled by cocaine, rather the opposite, that itwas torpedoed by cocaine.

It's been suggested by Charlene and the person she claims is her source is not around to confirm. There is no evidence that Prince was fueled by a cocaine diet as she claims. She even admits that she never witnessed him do drugs. This is blatant speculation and anybody that believes one word out of that liar's mouth is an idiot. She's so obviously full of shit.

Who? When? Where? Quotes? Links?

NOPE!

An opportunistic lying bitch admits she never saw Prince do drugs but claims his deceased brother admitted that Prince had a cocaine diet. As the thread indicates: Absurd, gossip, heresay...

If I recall accurately, wasn't it attorney Michael Padden who said months back that Duane likewise addressed him regarding Prince's alleged drug use? Duane admitted he would get drugs for Prince. And what did Prince's cousin Charles Smith mean recently by "ongoing intervention" efforts to help Prince?

I'm curious about what occurred first: Prince firing Duane and getting a restraining order against him or Duane's reports of Prince's drug use and his lawsuit. Because that would make a difference as far as I'm concerned.

And just in case anyone wonders: yes, I am always going to be on Prince's side first.

There is a cloud of suspicion over why longtime friend Kirky J immediately lawyered up, and went on vacation for weeks. He hasn't been seen or heard from since. If anyone knows about Prince's rumored addiction and final days, it's him.

Someday in the not-so-distant future, it will all come out. For the time being, I think his inner circle wishes to maintain a strategic distance from hurt, doubting fans. I'm convinced he had a long-term dependency issue.
