I highly doubt a poorly-written, free newspaper would be the one to get a scoop like this.

Yep! gots candy and popcorn along with strong drinks for those of us that might need it and for the kiddies or those that wish not to drink strong drinks ENDLESS coffee, sodas, teas, juices and things as this might require round the clock observation. Who's calling first watch? Also got your choices of bean bag chairs, fold out comfy camping chairs with cup holders, foot rests and trays to eat on. We got a smoking section for us cig smokers...gotta get a loan for more cigs at this rate though.. eek lol

If this is true I think that he and Tyka deserve Prince's estate...the rest of those half siblings shit I don't know. I know they're related just doesn't seem right that some of them really hadn't seen Prince in years.

If it's true Tyka wouldn't get jacksh*t, this unknown person would be sole heir and have full control over an estate of a person they had not desire to know in life. This would be a clusterf*ck all around. Sure we'd all know that Prince could father healthy children and then what?

I just can't see a woman getting pregnant 4 P, raising the child alone & never telling P. Also can't see P knowing he had a child & not seeing/supporting them. Only scenario that seems possible 2 me is P impregnating a woman he had a one night stand or fling with & supporting/seeing his child in secret. [Edited 7/28/16 4:59am]

She sounds like a cool chick if she got knocked up and didn't go begging Prince for money.

But yes hard to believe and got to think it's less than 50% probability this is all true.

I'mma wait this one out. It's too strange. For all we know someone could have paid someone at the diagnostic center to falsify the test results in order to swindle Tyka and the rest of P's siblings out of their rightful inheritance. Hell, the person performing the test could even know the mother. I say send it to another center to be tested, with false names attached to the test tubes. I don't put anything past a human being/mind these days. Also, this is the same sight that said P had hiv/aids rolleyes hmm Now all of a sudden they do a 360. Smh...

I'd hate to think he had a kid, didn't know and then this kid gets to inherit his legacy. Shame, if true.

This is what gets me upset. If that person (and or his mother) have known this whole time, but never thought to tell Prince? He had a right to know. But now crawl out of the woodwork for 'their rightful inheritance' disbelief It's not right.

You know who I feel sorry for? Prince. If that is his son, why not tell him? Especially after he lost a child in terrible circumstances. He wanted a family and never got to have one. Now they come forward to claim his money but deprived him of being a father, That's if this is true...

You know what? They do not HAVE to, no one is forcing them to. They kept quiet about it during Prince's living years. They could have carried on. They sure conveniently are crawling out now in lieu of that inheritance aren't they? I do not feel sorry for them. I feel sorry for Prince. He had a right to know.

sad But if their is a legitimate offspring, don't they get it all - without a will? I hope Tyka is part of that, but i don't know how they'll call it in this case. STILL makes me curious if there really is a will somewhere and they just don't know where it is. I mean, he FOUGHT SO HARD to protect his music, his livelihood. Seems hard to believe he wouldn't have given some idea to protecting them still after he left us (despite him possibly not caring for 'earthly things' once passing).

Is this that first guy we discussed a while back, the one that actually looked a bit like Prince, in the black and white pic, with the afro?

In all honestly, I hope he has no illegitimate son/daughter. That would be awful. The fact that he never met him would leave too many unanswered questions and we already have plenty of those, thank you very much.

Me too. I would only be wishing he had offspring that he KNEW ABOUT. The possibility that the son and/or his mother knew all along and did not tell him...that's upsetting. disbelief broken

I find it hard to believe Prince would not want the world to know he had a son. He wanted children so bad, according to all the articles we have read. I just find it hard to believe that if he did have a son, he wouldn't have had his son at Paisley Park all of the time, teaching him the music that made him so famous. And I find it hard to believe that a mother would not want her son to have a loving relationship with his father, especially if it was Prince. Just doesn't sound true.

There was an article online some time ago about a young man who did not want to come forward because that might void the financial agreement reached with his "father." There might be a clause in the agreement - if this story is true - that lays out what he would receive in the event of his father's death.

Well they owned up to in this article:

Great, maybe it isn't true! My only thought though: WHERE did they get the material to test and WHEN was it taken? They are indicating they have dna that isn't the same as what all the other "heirs" are being tested against? Because the timeline when the sample was obtained does matter.

What I'm finding even more interesting though is that the author is continually changing the article yet not indicating all these edits he has made to his original article anywhere.

[Edited 7/28/16 11:07am]

.

That's what I'm wondering: where did they get his DNA? OR....is that company the one that did Prince's initial DNA sequencing after his death?

So confusing.

It's not a matter of whether it'd be right or wrong, it's about enforcing the law. By law, the son has a right to everything, it is up to him if he wants all the fortune, or some of it, or none at all. As tempting as money can be, I don't know about him but the one thing I would want is my anonymity, if that means settling for less of the fortune then so be it. [Edited 7/28/16 6:22am]
I understand the law. I just don't think it's right. If someone knew about a child they had and had a relationship with them (or were providing financial support) that would be one thing. But if you never met this person and didn't even know they were your child why should they be entitled to your estate?

nod I agree. Doesn't seem right at all.

There HAS to be a will in some forgotten corner of Paisley Park.

There has to be.

The young man favors Prince as a teenager. The black & white photoshoot he did around Mpls. especially.
If he is indeed the son of Prince, then he left the world more than just his music. And that can't be a bad thing. Whether he knew him or not isn't his fault.

If Prince had a "secret" son, he would have put him in a will. If someone was really Prince's child, why would they only wait until after his death to make the claim? This "son" says he never met Prince...Does anyone really believe that Prince would not wanted to meet his own child? lol

This makes my head spin with questions. Why did the mother wait so long to tell him? Why didn't she ever tell P? Wow. Just wow. I actually love the idea of him having children out there, but I hate the idea they were never a part of each other's lives. I wonder if the other woman who claimed her son was Prince's ever filed a claim? He would be about 17 years old now and they also live in MN I believe. She could have just been bat - shit crazy tho too. She's the one who was always calling the carver county sheriff's office asking them to go to PP and give Prince a message from her Lol

why do so many people assume he wasn't told /didn't know? My feeling is he knew all along, took care of business and it has been the mother /child's decision to stay out of the limelight. Now that Prince is gone, why shouldn't ANY child of his step up as a claimant? And why is everyone feeling so sorry for Tyka? Prince had certainly taken care of her over the years and it isn't as if they had been extremely close on a consistent basis.
