Well, let's see. There are a few for me that are horrid even though I love the vast majority of his output. Here are five that I feel are just the absolute worst (with brief explanation): 5) Come - What's the deal with this damn song? It has disgusting sound effects, lasts forever AND sounds like he's totally bored with sex in general! It drives me insane, so I avoid it 4) Arrogance - This one is just plain annoying, like he's purposely TRYING to get you to pop your own eardrums in revolt...the horns alone are deadly 3) Do U Lie? - why, why, WHY is this on Parade? Because it sounds French? It still doesn't work on that record 2) Lovesexy - Particularly awful if you think about it because it was Prince's first dud title track. It's sad the main guitar riff is so shrieky because I LOVE him on guitar! 1) Love 2 The 9's - His absolute nadir, nothing works in this song for me, it changes tempo alot yet doesn't GET anywhere! Oh and the rapping is absolutely rotten to the CORE....Just for balance: My favorite album has got to be Sign 'O' The Times (natch) and I even love Graffiti Bridge (yes, the movie, too). I know you're thinking "Where's Jughead on this list?" I hate it as much as anyone but felt like being less obvious.... | |

I don't understand why I am being attacked for not liking certain Prince songs. Prince isn't a cynical person. This is why Prince survived for so long. He made music for EVERYBODY. We don't have the same ears. We aren't made to like the same things. LOL. ✿It's only mountains and the sea.

. You are right. "love 2 The 9's" is the worst. But "Do You Lie?" is okay. And "Come" is terrific, 11 minutes and 13 seconds worth of sexual fantasy. I also like Grafitti Bridge (yes, the movie too) .

I might have been slightly harsh about DUL? (It would have worked as a B-side, actually) And with Come, it's weird with me because the hook works but the lyrics just don't (the licking sounds are....there are no words) But to be fair, he was going through alot of turmoil at the time Come (the album) was released, I just think he needed a break. OMG, I thought I was the only one who dug GB! It's one of the most bizarre movies I've ever laid eyes on! (P.S. L2T9's actually almost caused me to snap my cassette of the Symbol album in half with my bare hands back in the day! Ah, memories, lol) | |

Temptation and I loveATWIAD otherwise. The end thing is ridiculous. That and every awful minute of The Rainbow Children. Just painful. I also like most of GB a lot and as a long music video thought the movie was not awful with some good musical bits and Morris as always cracks me up.i refuse to consider Come a real album it is so bad.

Come is one of my favorite albums and has 4 of my favorite songs, Come, Dark, Space and Letitgo
It gets a lot of airplay in this house
I also like GB as a music video and it also has some of my favorite songs, NPG, Question of U, Joy in Repetition and Thieves in the Temple.
Rainbow Children was different but I still loved it. Not as many favorites but I love Last December.
ATWIAD is probably my least favorite album and gets the least airplay
