It wasn't until a year or two a go that I realized that woman on the ATWIAD cover was Clara Bow(Condition of the Heart)

Thanks OldFriends I had been wondering for years. I even considered that it might have been Gayle Chapman. I'm curious though, what made you realise it was Clara Bow? Did the penny drop whilst you were listening to Condition of the Heart? Is the PR face definetely her for sure?

I'm not 100% sure just yet. I'm still doing more research
But that face is one of a few similar type face that I posted from the Kids bedroom
And all of them were 1940 starletts. This one is closest to Clara Bow who then went on to be used on the ATWIAD cover. Those sleepy eyes, the way her eyes droop are very similar in the shape and structure to the image of this face.

Yes, it's very close. The only reserve I've got is that the image is showing her eyes as blue but it seems like Clara's eyes were brown. The other thing is the face on the image looks really familiar but I just can't remember who exactely it reminds me of. I wonder if it could be a combination of faces, to achieve that sort of "deja-vu" effect...

I thought so too, a combination maybe 1 persons eyes and anothers mouth

It could also be Lauren Bacall.
