Musicology and hit n run.

Same. I saw him twice and I feel lame too. I saw him on his "Musicology" and "Welcome 2 America" tours.

I'm so jealous of all the fans who saw him dozens of times.

I guess we should feel happy and grateful though that at least we got to see him at all. I am glad I at least got to experience seeing him in concert. I'll never forget it and I'll always treasure those memories.

First time I have totted them up for years and it strangely makes exactly 250, but there might be an error a few figures either side.

As you can see, It started strong, but tapered off as I got older. You can tell I started earning, but had no responsibilities between 87 and 92! I used to backpack Europe for the early tours. Strangely though, never saw a show in Italy or Spain (use to have to get back to raise funds or wash clothes). Also regret that I never got to a Jam of The Year show, Celebration II or any Piano and a Microphone. I thought I would catch one this year. sad

Not enough-- 10 times. First one was the Lovesexy tour in L.A and last time was two consecutive nights in Chicago a few years ago. That was the time I tapped Prince on the shoulder as he rode his bike for an encore. He looked at me and smiled. sad

My first shows were two Jam of The Years, I made four Musicologys and one surprise show and two Welcome to Americas. It's not many by some standards but it's plenty for me.Ooops, I forgot about the one Vegas residency show.

That's a lot! I'm surprised you didn't get to see him at Rio Las Vegas during his residency there for 3121.

Montreux 2009 (x2)

Malahide, Dublin 2011

Wish I'd seem him more, but I like that I got one stadium style, one small club style, and one out doors.

I also went to an after party in the IndigO2 with his guitar on stage and Dr.John expecting Prince to join him but he never did. Looking at them now, each concert came exactly at a turning point in my life in one way or another.

I don't know what that means. 3 coincidences... I don't know.

I would have loved to have gone, and looked into it, but I had fairly new twin boys at the time so it wouldn't have been fair on Mrs Squirrel!

Loads. I can't put a number on it exactly because of 1990 in the UK, he did so many shows that year here and i don't remember how many i went to in just that year alone.

I saw at least one show in the UK on every tour since Parade. I missed Hop Farm only and spent that night being pissed off!

It's such a blur. All i know are my concert going days are over now. I now want my last gig to have been a Prince gig. Sure, I've seen others but 'Nothing compares'... Not now anyway.

I don't know, but I would assume somewhere around 75 times. I live in LA and have seen him every year multiple times since moving here in 89. I worked at GLAM SLAM LA for the entire time it was open and saw almost every show he did at the Forum for the 21 Nights residency. I think I missed three shows. I've gone to Vegas, NOCAL, and saw him almost everytime he played in LA. I'm a diehard.

Twice, both in 2014 (I originally typed 2015, did not realise how long ago it was!).

I saw the back to back shows at Koko during the first leg of HITNRUN tour in London. I had travelled from Cheltenham to London at 5 30 in the morning, and queued up all day. I was number 111 in queue and a photograph I took of my hand appears prominitley on the tour book and Plectrumelectrum's album booklet - which for me was a brilliant momento of my first Prince experience. After the shows, with nowhere to go until 8AM the next day, a fellow fan I had met during the show let me crash at his and we stayed up listening to ONA live. It was a great experience and the shows remain the best I have seen by anybody.

I then saw Prince on the second leg of the HITNRUN tour when he performed at the Leeds First Direct Arena, which again was amazing show.

I was looking forward to the Piano and Microphone tour eventually making it's way to the UK - I never thought the Leeds show would be the last I would see him. In light of his death, it makes the memories of the few times I saw him live all the more precious.

The amount of times you have seen Prince in concert doesn't define your fandom. How did you feel the last (maybe only) time you saw him?

If you had a gut wrenching, almost worry with anticipation excitement, then you are in the Prince Zone! No greater feeling and enjoyment.

Jam of the year x 3, New Power Soul tour x 1, First Celebration at University of Minnesota, Hit N Run show x 3(which includes 1 at Celebration 2 at Xcel energy center, a surprise mini concert at Paisley Park during Celebration 2 when about 50 or so of us were just waiting around in the middle of the day for something to happen lol, once on the One Night Alone tour, and once during the Musicology tour. So I guess 11 with the honorable mention of travelling 4 hours to Oklahoma City to attend one of the few participating theaters that Live broadcast the first Musicology show in LA. I remember us getting a free cd at that too. Btw, if I'm not mistaken, LA was the grand opening to the tour, the night before was the actual first date as a practice run. I don't remember where that was, lol.
