LOL you mean to tell me I've been on the lookout for Vanity Fair and it's an import?

I knew something was up when I saw Amy Schumer on the latest cover.

If anyone has release dates for any of these (or other) cover stories, please post.

I was at the grocery today and as of yet I saw no mags with cover stories.

Thanks! cool

I went to the grocery store 2 days ago and I didn't see any either, but my mom went today and says she saw several.

I want to buy a mag specifically dedicated to P, not one where they put a few pages of him and they move on to other news. If any magazine does a completely issue to Prince only then I would really appreciate it if someone would keep me informed. I will be getting money soon and I want to spend it carefully.

Try Walmart n Kroger

The cover copy is written in Italian ("Purple Tears") and the dates above Prince's name are in the European order of day, month, year--not how it's done in the U.S.

This has been 1 of the true jewels that I've discovered...makes the horrible Billboard debacle a little easier 2 swallow after picking this up.

migmigmig

i bought two copies each of the Conde-Nast, People and Time commemoratives last night (one copy to look at, another to stow away.) I appear in a shot from the Spike Lee party in the People edition, so one copy is actually for my mother smile

Walking out of the bookstore with the stack of mags, I kind of felt like I'd finally reached some sort of new plateau of begrudging acceptance.

But then inevitably, I see another video of another tribute or something and I'm not so sure.

Sucks, man.

hurts my heart to see all these mags. He was so great and will be soooo missed.

Does anyone remember if Michael Jackson got all this attention? I just don't recall many hosts, and interviewers crying over his loss. Not to say he wasn't great, and talented, but there is something about Prince that really hit a nerve with people.

His lost is unbearable and immensley sad giving us a lonley feeling.

Prince was irreplaceable.

That's what happens when you don't retweet like everyone else does on Twitter. That's also what happens when you don't check your sources like say the New York Times would.

Prince's "I am #Transformed" Tweet Gathers Retweets After Artist's Death

scorchingly fast clip as a result. The post, from April 15, reads “I am #transformed,” and it was sent out hours after his concert in Atlanta – what would turn out to be Prince’s final performance.

I came across it this morning on the newsstands. It's the best commemorative issue I've seen thus far. Remarkable for its completeness and rare pics.

You are right. This is, finally, a decent tribute. It makes the other mags just look like they were trying to make a quick buck. This one was put together by the editors of Vanity Fair, New Yorker, Wired and Pitchfork.
