I really wish I could fly in for the funeral... Unfortunately I'm in Germany and pretty broke at the moment. =( I would like to have the chance to say goodbye to someone who has had such a massive impact on my life.

Kind of eerie video? Always frightened me a little. It has a dummy body made up like Prince face down in a casket. Very Strange. But that was many many years ago back during when Emancipation 3 CDs came out.

While I'm sitting here distraught at the speed of this whole thing - I feel oddly comforted that he was cremated and, in a way is finally safe from the ghoulish circus -

its barely been 2 days and I understand why he'd prefer speed - but I am reeling from the overwhelmin energy of it all.

I'm glad he's home with angels - in pain no more with no further demands made upon him. He's safe from the hungry public and the monster of his own creation, the talent that now seems as if it ate him whole. like ...he coulnt outrun himself, or keep up with his own output.

Maybe after 2 days of no sleep Im not making sense. still so sad.
