Well. Time is definitely a trick if you think like I sometimes do, about how 30 years just flew by in a flash; or as you age, where each year starts feeling like 4 months.

.

However, this is an interesting article by Forbes, mentioning the same argument 'Time is a trick2 by a French professor from Marseilles who links it to quantum physics.

As far as 'you're as old as you think you are' there is some truth in this and others have mentioned this already. However, it has nothing to do with how we physically age. This is mostly determined by genes and biology. In the end we all die, thank goodness, as our bodies give up like over-tired machines. The mind however, as long as dementia doesn't set in, seems to remain at our 'favourite age'. Something like 35. When we still had all our looks and energy yet a mature intellect, reached hopefully by then. My two cents.

It's a very thoughtful article, thanks.

You're welcome. Glad to see some people bother to read what has actually been posted. smile before diving in with a random comment that means nothing in light of what has been said in previous posts.

We all should bother to read it, it's not that long of an article and besides that it's very interesting.

Wasn't he saying that when he was in his 30s? Yet one should act their age and not their... Anyway, statements like that only matter at 70+. Which you don't hear too many of those folks saying things like that. Some, but not many. Because hone, when AARP starts sending you stuff in the mail your whole perspective in life changes.
