yeah it's sad...but thankfully, most of my other favorite artists and bands have released box sets and remasters smile I got more than enough great stuff to enjoy!

THIS is a VERY GOOD point!!

I spend a bit of money on re-releases from other artists which I enjoy.

Imagine if all that money went into the Paisley Park Piggy Bank!!?? eek

The man is 57 years old I mean at this point I dont think he gives a shit. His legacy is set even if he never sells another song.

If you think P will ever stop caring or giving a huge shit you're way off. His self love has fuelled him since he was 20. If he didn't care he wouldn't release three albums in 2 years or do anything but tour and have exclusive parties in Los Angeles. P will care till the day he becomes too senile to.

Nah he doesn't lol If he did the Org wouldve been shut down years ago. lol

Jesus what's wrong with this site. You can't even have a sensible debate about P career without to be told you have to go to the Absurdities thread jail. This is absurd. That's why I never post here anymore.

Too many people on here want to shut down people's conversation. It's really sad.

-- Their new music is not played on the radio either so they are in the same book.

I don't want to offend anyone but Prince belongs to the 80s. I'm sure many of his fans are already 40+ years old. My mom loves him but she probably doesn't even know what TIDAL is.

If he wants to sell his music to 18 years old it's ok.

But his albums will be unnoticed by most of his supporters until he starts promoting properly.

Utter nonsense...promoting albums can be a real cash drain with very, very little return. Fact is that in an age of streaming music is not selling. The main source of cash for an artist is touring..in this respect he is 100% right to focus in this area and he does do incredibly well from it.

-// Exactly, music is just not selling like it use to and Prince is giving the current CD at the concert so fans are getting the music.

It's not the lowest point but it is 1 of the lower points he's out touring that's great but he could b doing much better. Like in sales & charting for example
His albums aren't doing great chart wise & he's sales with his last 3 album are among his worst selling albums especially when u c the sale rates for Charlie puth & Meagan trainor it's really sad he's come 2 this point even though his a living legend he's still far from were he could b at this point in time. Prince also hasn't done anything with his vinyl rereleases yet the 30th anniversary of P.R fell through & he hasn't promoted his mew albums as well as he could have just add up the sales of his last 3 albums & the compare that 2 the sales the young guys are charting with now it's really poor to say the least it's like when AOA was released it could have been a Hugh album but it wasn't there was legitimately more sales coming from a dead mans work & a recluse then Prince look at Michael Jackson's album 'Xscape' it sold 1.7 million copies worldwide after it was released in 2014 & Agnetha Faltskogs worldwide sales were 600.000 copies sold when A was released so really he could doing much better hopefully guys like Justin Bieber & Charlie puth won't b ruling the charts for long & Princes next project is up to scratch with he's last great selling album. I would love to see the man back at the top of his game lets all hope he learns something from the newbies about how to keep sales up & also how to give his fans what they deserve remaster & merchandise wise wink
All of this and more is 4 u. With <3, sincerity and deepest care, my life with u eye share ~Prince~
Life is time time is space and space is what Eye need ~Awesome A.V~
