The vocal version is ok. P woulda really souled it . Reminds me of 1 of those lame jazz songs with the horn player as the artist featuring somebody or something ().

If new music had not happened since the early 80s I'd find this pretty cool. Unfortunately all kinds of stuff happened.

Sounds pretty average to me. Singing is not in the pocket. Lyrics are atrocious. Sorry, boys. You can't go from Phase 2 down to this. And certainly not while Bowie's kicking your ass from beyond.

Sounds similar to those 3EG Livestream tracks like Octopus Heart. I thought those were decent but I'm not feeling this one. Especially with that vocoder throughout the whole song. The instrumental is better but still not very exciting at all.

Both versions are good, neither is great. I prefer the vocal version over the instrumental.

Only got the instrumental - which I like a lot - a slow, quirky funk-jam. Reminds me of "Scarlet Pussy" with a tad of "Dead on it".

Just heard the vocoder version - not a fan - instrumental's far better imo.

I emailed Tidal because I listened to the vocal version in the store but when purchased I got the instrumental. Just got below reply. The plot thickens but good to see Bart being polite for a change:

I've got to give a thumbs down for this one. No point in having one of the most hyped bassplayers around in your band when you continue to record these fairly grooveless, midtempo plodders one after another. At least increase the tempo on these type of pieces if you can't otherwise introduce more energy to them.
