100 would be a remarkably round number of copies to sell. You yourself touted the number (at the time) of 10,000 based on estimated sales of other albums charting at the same position.

It's blatently obvious 100 is not an accurate number. When you attempt to use things like that fact; it makes you look like a troll.

... u might be the BIGGEST TROL on PRINCE.ORG now...

u do realize that is THE ACTUAL TWEET PRINCE TWEETED.... wow noodled... wow.

http://www.billboard.com/...rt-hitnrun approx 6000 copies in the week ending 27th Sept

You like to look at sales numbers too. How did you miss that? I guess nobody should take you seriously anytime you talk about sales numbers?

Just so that I'm clear on whats happened here... Were you wrong only once? or were you wrong 5,900 individual times?

I'm honestly shocked at your stupidity... I really am...

Let me try to put it as easy as possible... The "sold only 100" quote came from PRINCE'S TWEET.

Obviously that's not that actual sales numbers of PHASE1, but that was PRINCE'S RESPONSE on TWITTER when a fan asked why cant PHASE 2 be distributed by PHASE 1.

I'll repeat once more... Maybe you'll understand... THE SOLD ONLY 100 QUOTE did not come from ME saying pHASE 1 SOLD ONLY 100 copies... IT WAS WHAT PRINCE WROTE "SOLD ONLY 100" that was the quote. Obviously it was a sense of humor from PRINCE indicating the low sales of PHASE 1.

Noodled, I'm really shocked that you didn't understand it from the beginning...

That window of exclusivity was initially much longer. Why would they announce an album but not give the date?

Check the album announcement thread. Confirmation of a CD release date took some time.

How do you know how long the exclusivity window was? There was only a month between the album announcement and the release, it takes time for CDs to be manufactured, etc. The release date actually came fairly quickly given how fast this project was rolled out. It normally takes months for a major to roll out a physical release.

Look through the album announcement thread. The album was announced. No date was given for a CD release. http://prince.org/msg/7/4...e-Sept-7th The focus is all about Tidal.

CD's take time to be manufactured and distributed. If the CD was planned right from the get go then they'd have had the date for the CD this is called "logistics". They didn't, this came later - after fans took to twitter to bitch about a CD version.

Nice censorship. So typical of freedumb.

.

But while I am here:

Where is the info on the physical CD release of Phase 2?

The Org is not the internet nor a country, it's a community. Membership can be revoked and the people in charge of deciding what is appropriate to say and what is not are the mods. I didn't read the deleted comments before they were deleted so I'm not taking sides, just saying there's a whole internet out there for freedom of speech, but if you want to belong to a club, it makes sense to accept there's a certain set of behavior to follow.

If a tennis player insulted his opponents everytime he missed a ball, I'm pretty sure you'd consider it normal if he was asked not to keep doing that if he wants to remain a member of the tennis club?

Thank you very much for argueing in favor of censorship.

Any comments w.r.t `Where is the info on the physical CD release of Phase 2?`?

Kind regards,

This is not censorship.

databank is not arguing in favor of censorship.

As of yet there is no info on a physical CD release for Phase 2.

I am not indeed.

.

I used to be an active member on another board (dedicated to comics) where:

- Members never insulted each others nor had rows with each other (which didn't mean they always agreed on everything)

- Members never insulted comics creators or publishers (which doesn't mean they didn't criticize their work or policies on occasions)

- Members expressed reasonable opinions, had no propaganda agenda, didn't create repeated moaning threads nor nonsense threads (nevertheless the board was very active, with long threads and lots of new threads every week)

- Comics creators and publishers were, and I guess still are much willing to contribute the boards occasionally, because of its members manners and dedication to the topic (the same can't be said about P's collaborators and the org, guess why?)

.

I stopped going there because I don't read as many comics as I used to, but it was the nicest of places, and you could have lots of in-depths conversations and debates.

.

Was it always, spontaneously like this or did the mods have to enforce good manners and constructive contributions in the beginning? IDK, I was not there when it started. But I'm sure people speaking shit or nonsense don't last long over there. We have a lot of bad manners and nonsense over here, I can't blame the mods for trying to keep things from sinking too deep.

.

GD can and maybe even should be a total mess, that's where we can just talk everything and nothing, but Music & More and Associated Artists could benefit from being a little more focused.
