Being a Prince follower since 1983, it saddens me that he addresses his fan base in his attempts to get WB to release something they likely don't consider to be very good. I don't think he'll get much help that way.

Why did WB bother getting back into the Prince business? His albums don't sell and, quite frankly, aren't they embarressed dealing with 58 year old man who talks like petulant 5-year old?

This is the same defense you famz have been saying since the mid-1990s, when Prince's official website posted insults towards band members, gay people, other artists, etc.: "well it isn't Prince actually typing the words". To lock up the rights to his lucrative back catalogue (the WBR-era one) for X amounts of years, with the chance to have deluxe/expanded/remastered releases somewhere down the line if Prince ever decides to grow up.

The only thing I'm going to do with HnR part2, in totally not buy that shit, just like I already did part1.

i would guess that hitnrun phase 2 has "free urself" and "stare" on it so that makes it better than phase 1 already for me...

WHat I expected when the purple pick of the week was first announce was to have each 10 to 12 songs packged as phase 2, phase 3, etc. That was when the purple pick of the week was supposed to be previously unreleased tracks.
