Actually, I haven't listened to this one--I found it streaming, but it was almost unlistenable--I don't think I even got to the part where they came in live. It just sounded terrible to me... so much emptiness, I assume because of the PA and then poor recording on top of that. I've never been very hyped based on the Yahoo snippet, though, so maybe it's just not gonna be my thing no matter what the quality.

Or maybe I was in a bad mood when I tried to listen to it. Anyway... so far, I've got to say I'm unimpressed.

I wish, but I doubt it. He has a long history of hoarding some of his best music and releasing lesser tracks. Hell, how many decades did it take for us to hear Asonis and Bathsheba?

He's got to have a screw loose to release HitNrun and keep this under wraps. This really should be put out for everyone to drink in. It's a sumptuos and heavy ballad. No one does this like Prince. No one.

The fact is that when a "new" album of a deceased artist is found, no one buys it but people that were around when the artist was alive.

Very few young people buy "new" Elvis Presley or Jimi Hendrix releases.
