They like to be exact, also with 96 responses you are not going to get a nice round number, plus some people like me have been doing decimal point answers. . A while back I gave this a 3/10. Can I change my rating? Oh well, I'll share my new rating anyways After listening to it some more, I'll give this a 4.5/10. I don't like the darth-vador-voice repeating "ain't about to stop" in that song. That made it cheesy for me. But besides that, I sorta like that song. "Mr. Nelson" still ruins the classic "Clouds" for me. I just gotta remind myself to never listen to "Mr. Nelson" ever again... That shit is atrocious..... I'll say 4.5, gets better near the end but much of it is embarassing imo. I did initially think it had a sort of "so bad it's good" appeal for some of the cheesier dancey type tracks but right now I really don't feel like revisiting it again for the forseeable future, save 3 or 4 tracks. Heavenly wine and roses seems to whisper to me when you smile...

the first few tracks are fun to groove to This Could Be Us and Mr Nelson are experimental fillers, it's nothing really special so i rather skip them
June stands out from the other tracks, the vibe is not so upbeat and jamming. I like it for what it is and wouldn't mind a pasta remix
overall, i dig this album Don't need no reefer, don't need cocaine..Purple music does the same 2 my brain

A solid 8/10.
It's his best work since the Gold Experience. I don't say that lightly. Any album since 2000 has been tough for me to give multiple listens. I can't stop listening to this album.
AOA was poor. 3121. blah. Planet Earth (embarrassing). Don't get me started on Lotusflower etc. Rainbow Children? Unlistenable.
I love this album, look forward to something live. Remember when you listened to SOTT and thought, this is different than anything he's ever done? HITNRUN is that, only on steroids. I love was Josh has brought to the table. | |
