If HardRockLover and The X's FAce are any indication of the new sound, I'm all on board. I liked AOA and PE a lot and the new stuff seems to be expanding on the basic structure of the sound. Joshua being on board is a huge plus.

true, but also look at what they said when he signed the Kobalt deal:

i ask one question of you, it only requires a yes or no..Are you employed, related to or affiliated with Prince, Kobalt, WBR any legal, mgmt teams for either party; if no, you talk out your ass cuz you dont know and it is all speculation

I remember the thrill of buying a new LP back in the days, buying it in the shop, carrying it in a bag, worrying it will get stuck in the front wheel of your bicycle, finally getting it home in one piece, taking it out of the sleeve, seeing it for the first time, just looking at that damn black vinyl thing, then slowly letting the needle hit the groove and let the music come... Show me any digital download that has that same feeling! This is why vinyl is coming back and any artist who doesn't recognize this is an idiot! Anyway, it's great that young people are still discovering Prince!

Don't forget the smell of fresh vinyl out of the sleeve and the thrill of looking at the art work and reading the liner notes.

"Hit&Run" sounds like a 3EG album? Especially with the girls being the ones seemingly "gold experiencing" the promotion i.e. "Prince doesn't want to talk to you, but he's a super-nice person; here's an album you can't buy"...

I was looking forward to "FreeUrself". This sounds like it's going to be the same album (but with Hannah taking the vocal on several tracks) as opposed to another double release?
