Double yep. It's a shame such a briliant song has such immature, simplistic and blatently incorrect lyrics. I don't mind being offended or challenged on my beliefs, but I still expected better from the guy who wrote some amazing socially-conscious songs/ albums. I'm in two minds when I listen to it.

wow, too much to unpack here. but you DO get the idea of parents modeling certain behaviors for children right? evolution has no explanation for morality by the way, you know one of the things that good parents teach. evolution is a "faith system" in itself. let me stop. can't believe i took it even this far. Do U hear the lyrics first or the music? I still refuse to look at the lyrics, I still caught on the way it is sung I only hear certain lyrics, getting near the end where it picks up is majestic. some of the synth sounds are weak, which makes it an almost

From an album I would say Time. But for a song that has never found a home on an album and whose first incarnation came way back in the 80s and still gets ripped to shreds in all its glory live, is Empty Room.

I do like Boom and Dreamer, but they're missing that killer hoook for me.
