Call me naive but I don´t understand this namecalling thing. Are people here angry because someone leaked those songs? On the one hand those who sell pressed CDs of the same ol same ol get blasted here, and rightly so, for stealing from sources that usually provide bootleg material for free, and yet people are called asshole for leaking stuff? So what makes a "good" bootlegger and longtime , hardcore fan, and who are the "assholes"? I mean, bottomline is that both camps are, at least in Prince´s view, assholes since they are distributing unreleased material against his will, right? If it wasn´t for people leaking stuff every now and then we wouldn´t even have most of the stuff we are taking for granted. Not judging here, just wondering what makes a bootlegger "cool" and in the know and respected, as opposed to being an "asshole"? I´ve never really understood this whole trader and bootleg scene and the attitude behind it. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs!
