Hell, the word moon even enters the picture.

And Camille was influenced by Ziggy Stardust, the difference being P would present Camille as a separate artist whereas Bowie was playing a role, letting you know he was Ziggy, or the Thin White Duke...

On the looks :


Well, they're tie. Forget about Madonna's mainstream success, which is a lot greater than Prince. When it comes to hair styling and clothes,

I really think they're even. Of course, Madonna's status would have you believe that her visuals have been more important to pop culture,
when in fact she just sampled pop culture, or should I say, the gay gotha culture.
Keep in mind it's easier for a woman to access a wide array of looks. Unless you're like Bowie,
unafraid to look homosexual / transexual, Prince has done the maximum possible for a man (hence today's agonizing hair).
Ooh, I almost forgot about the Dirty Mind era panties, so yes, he also went as far as Bowie.


On the music :

Sure, when you consider yourself an urban aware western hip guy, people will hear you ranting on
how radical the choice of "Electronic Producer" as a producer was.
The only major change happened with her voice.
As she grew older, she finally stopped singing like a teen brat and more like a woman.

Be careful, Madonna isn't just a byproduct of capitalism, she is willingfully a part of it.
So you have to be very precise on what reinvention means. Isn't it just a scheme to make sure
