Prince doesn't have anything for kids to listen to. His last album was 5 years ago and even then if you don't shop at Target you would never know as he did not promote it. Kids don't know who he is and the ones that do are hearing their parents play him and they have the same reaction we had as a kid listening to our parents music. Its so old that they dont want to hear it overall. Of course there will be a few who do but most will rebel and not like it because its our parents music. Its only natural and unless Prince does something to make himself relevant again in mainstream music it won't change. The kids can't like what is not out there. They don't want to hear 80s music. Its like us 80s babies listening to the 50s and 60s stuff as kids. Its just

I LOVE me some 3121, take it back! The album was great!

Parade,Purple Rain, Controversy and Emanctipation are my favorite albums.

I don't drift of to the 70's much. So I don't know alot about his history them.

I am not a fan of his songs in the 90's; but his style is great. So I hardly drift over to that part.

Not really, most people my age and younger probably like to fantasize about a certain era of his. Say, when he was 24 or whatever.

Even I can't imagine myself looking at Prince now and thinking 'dayum!' but in his younger years he was certainly something.
