Well, that was fast. He posts only 36 seconds of a song, then it gets shut down from too much traffic in less than three hours. So now I have to start jumping through hoops to try and hear less than a minute of a song that has no release date. Typical Prince! But after all these years I'm still here...

Damn Prince, don't use a bloody dropbox account for premiering new material, wish I could hear this.

why do youtube the favor, when you can give it to your fans directly for free? he gave us the WAV file, not a streaming link, and its on LOOP as we speak

...which would be awesome if everyone could get it. Dropbox crashes and shuts down, Youtube does not. If it were the other way around, and I had it on loop and you were unable to hear it, you would probably wish he had put it on Youtube as well.

Honestly there is not much too this - some light keyboards and layered vocals and it only lasts for 30 seconds...but if you are like me you just want to hear it so enjoy...

I really don't like this at all. It sounds like bad, The-Dream esque R&B. And I don't really like the vocals either.

So on the whole, did you find this snippet..

It's over folks. Plain and simple. If that is the best he can do or if that is on the new album at all then it explains why Warners hasn't released it. It would be a very brave music company that takes this rubbish on.
