Good point, I'd missed it. I'll count them as #1 to #10 (top to bottom) regardless of a lack of numerical order, but please y'all keep numbering them as it'll make my task easier. What I love so much about Prince music, is that it's kinda unpredictable what people are favoring among his best albums. Reasons can be that people care about different things in his music. Some people are typical songwriter fans, and would want every song to sound good even if the only thing you had was a acoustic guitar strumming the chords. Others want it to be funky, or rock heavy, maybe catchy pop tunes, or even with some punk/new wave edge. I personally love his new waveish "punkfunk". I will provide a list later. Though Sign and Parade always take the top two spots, this list changes a lot! For instance, I've only really just got into 'The Rainbow Children', the lyrics and narration and what not were just too distracting. Then I put it on not so long ago and it hit me! Incredible music, some of the greatest and certainly most adventerous music of Prince's career. I struggled between Lotus, 3121, Gold, Come and Love Symbol for the tenth spot too. Meh, not really, TGE is probably his most acclaimed album of the ninties (I prefer Come but that's just me) and TRC, although very divisive, is often highly regarded by those who do like it. Neither album to me is a particularly contravesial choice in the fan community, maybe for the general population, but this is a Prince fan forum. It has always suprised me that people are willing to rate Diamonds and Pearls highly, but that just speaks to the versatility of the man and his music. Heavenly wine and roses seems to whisper to me when you smile...
