WB has been the only record company that has norished his musical abilities, bought him Paisley Park for godsakes, tolerated him when he wanted more control, more money. WB always kept saying yes and they loved him for it. Sure there were ups and downs, but what relationship doesn't have that? In the end, they both realize they can't succeed without each other and that's okay. As long as everyone's getting some cookies and we're reaping the benefits, I'm okay with it. This totally makes up for that purple smurf playing on my wedding day IN THE BAY AREA!!

I posted a few, but apparently, content is now snipped if it skirts too Bart-ishly close to not flat out praising him.

This sounds exciting indeed. Yet why am I like "whatever"?? Because I'm tired of all the hype. Plus, the only official album WB released after Prince left them was OLD FRIENDS FOR SALE and that was a really forgettable album full of lackluster Prince songs.

He's been hyping PLECTRUM ELECTRUM for almost a year...and nothin yet.

For all his talk of wanting freedom to release more music after he left WB, he has released fewer and fewer albums and made them harder to get. In short, I worship Prince and find him maddening.

Here's what WB needs to do: Make a Prince website and post new batches of previously unreleased tracks for sale every month. Prince wins, fans win, WB wins. Until this happens, I'll believe it when I see it.

This is just beyond incredible. I hope that some of the Paisley Park and related artist albums get remastered and reissued as well. I would love to hear remastered version of the Time, Family, Jill Jones, Apollonia 6, Vanity 6 and Madhouse albums.
