It's probably the most frequently heard Prince song in public!
Looooove Kiss 3^

Yup, it's probably his safest, most popular song to this day. Does a wedding or bar mitvah go by without that song coming on? Weird that there are people who only think of Kiss when they think of Prince, and consider themselves fans. I actually find it kind of hard to listen to unless I'm in the right mood, and then it really hits home. Such a love/hate song.

Best part-

"You don't have to be rich.."

"Bullshit!"
lol

Um, most of Prince's lady friends weren't rich. Carmen Electra,Apollonia, Vanity, etc.

But wasn't Prince rich (or on his way) when he got them? He gave them all record contracts.

But the lyrics say,"You don't have to be rich to be my girl." Thus my statement.

Kiss is perhaps the greatest song created by anyone. Untouchable.

It's pretty obvious that the extended part of Kiss doesn't fit at all.

yeahthat I've always liked the album version better. cool

I've always wanted to ask someone this - I'm not American, and Dynasty was never on here, and was before my time ANYWAY, so..... why would watching Dynasty give someone an attitude?

The song, itself, is an all time classic smile

It was Kiss that made me a fan.
I was 13 when it came out, I got one look at that video & immediately started making lists, saving my pocket money & bugging my loved ones to obtain all his albums lol
Love everything about that era.
Best video of his ever IMO.
"We just let people talk & say whatever they want 2 say. 9 times out of 10, trust me, what's out there now, I wouldn't give nary one of these folks the time of day. That's why I don't say anything back, because there's so much that's wrong" - P, Dec '15

Dynasty the Soap was a bunch of attitude especially from the Joan Collins character:

For me, Kiss is in my top 3, whilst WDC and PR don't feature in my top 40.

Masterpiece, unconventional and shows what Prince is capable of if he collaborates more.
