mine took about 4 hrs, first time ever it's taken that long

The horns are completely different quality to the rest of the song. From what I can tell they've just been overdubbed on the original track.

Place one under the other and invert - you could probably extract the horns that easily.

Yeah, I eventually got it about 6 hours later. 5 hours after contacting them. I'm computer savvy. It just took them a while. After I received the link, I got a response from info@ telling me that it had already been sent and I already downloaded it. Well, no shit! I asked about it 5 hours before!

The only time I had a problem was because I made the mistake of assuming the email with the links would be sent to my email that I used to set up the account at 3rdEyeGirl when in fact it was sent to my wife's email that we used to set up the account at PayPal. I still think that 3rdEyeGirl should send the link to the address I gave them instead of the address I gave paypal, but, it's whatever. Knowing is half the battle...

Lyrics aside I do like this approach of releasing the demo then selling the finnished product, He did it with Guitar and Feel Better Feel Good Feel Wonderfull

I think this could prove a good business model for Prince

I have a personal problem with this song (which has been disscussed to death so I won't go into it) even though I love the demo and vocal delivery

yeah, i do like that, that he can now just release whatever he wants and as soon as he's

put something to tape.

but the downside is that for a very long time now we haven't had an album with songs

that are actually finished proper prince songs.

if we could have both, that would be the ultimate win-win situation.

but let's wait and see, i'm sure the 3EG album will drop in jan 014 and something solo

is bound to follow a bit later on.

so if these tracks ALL turn out to be outtakes and demos, than hurrah! because that's a

pretty cool release model indeed.

Certainly there are standards that define what a professional song is. I imagine Kobalt must have already paid Prince, so now he thinks there is nothing left to do, but take that deal down to Lake Minnetonka and phukk 'em! NPGMusicClub style!
