It is odd that Prince has released some recent tracks via both third-party digital download sites (such as iTunes, Amazon etc) and sometimes released those same tracks via his own 3rdeyegirl site. I must admit purchasing and downloading and instantly listening with my iphone via iTunes wirelessly over home wi-fi is definitely the simplest option for me.

I am indeed against mp3. However, most of the stuff via the ROKU (internet radio, etc.) is in mp3 format. This is all free. I have stated previously that I would never pay for mp3, and that will always stand.

From the remarks on this post I wasn't expecting much when I downloaded the ep

so I was surprised when I heard them at how good they are.

Really like Espresso.

I find if I take the original song and follow it with Buttermilk that's pretty close to an extended version.

Is it one of Princes best maxi- singles? No.

But it is far from his worst.

I would give it a B.

the espresso is grooving//... got it pumping on stereo..sounds really good

Not a real fan of this song, coming from a 55 year old its still sounds like hes chasing an audience that doesnt exist anymore for him especially, plus i just think its more lazy RB stuff that sounds like it was from aborted projects. It just sounds "phoned in", from someone that does amazing stuff on stage, hes releases and for the most part are just so painting by numbers at this point. It reminds me of when he won a grammy for "Future Baby Mama" i thought, has everyone gotten that bad in RB that one of his worst gets an award?

most of amazon CD releases (some vinyl) also are added to cloud (u order a cd and get cloud version also when u see that "AutoRip" logo). very cool to be able to access music anywhere from cloud. with amazon acct u also have an amount of free space. i uploaded 3121/GoldExp to cloud. they also have an APP in google play store, basic player that access all your music on cloud. its a sweet added perk.

I know its likely that itunes is 320 but I never cared for itunes, if I can get a cd for most of my released and access on cloud its awesome to have music there.

I think Josh did a nice job on the remixes. Not something I will play to death like the Beautiful Exp, nonetheless I likely will listen to these mixes here n there.
