I think if I were that recipient, I would be wishing that people would stop bringing it up and let it drop. It's been discussed, and the discussion turned into a personal attack. Every time it gets brought up again, there are going to be more personal attacks. I would be wishing it would just go away.

No, those are two separate incidents.

Sand Dollar = girl tried to give Prince a sand dollar, he dropped it by accident and it broke, she came on the org upset like he did it on purpose and a riot ensued.

It was reprehensible and it hasn't gone unnoticed by many that Prince has issued no formal (or informal) communication about the unacceptable behaviour, which is all the more surprising given the very vocal response about just how distasteful the situation left many fans feeling.

The problem with what you've said here (the part that I've bolded) is that you assume that lively debate on the exact same situation hasn't happened elsewhere. Your idea that people "have not had an opportunity" suggests that the discussion has ONLY been happening here on the org.

Not the case. I'm a part of several Prince communities outside of the org. Fan groups on Facebook (both open and private), lots of fans who all follow and talk to each other on Twitter, Tumblr, G+, even private messaging groups on smartphones such as WhatsApp.

Trust me, the conversation has been had everywhere just as it was had here. Everyone who wanted to give their opinion has already done so in one place or another. Nobody has anything left to say because everyone has already said what they thought.

It doesn't need to come up in the Spreecast, and although it may be mentioned or referred to, I don't think that'll last.

At this point, the debate is done and dusted. Time to move along, that goes for everyone.

There are places even more active than the org, but generally you have to be invited.
