I'm fine now btw. Honestly. WTF. I don't like this at all. THis isn't wat Prince is about to me. This sounds like one of those boring new bands that plays in skinny jeans and a sweater and wears hipster glasses. And Prince sometimes does this thing where he over produces certain noises and that is exactly wat he did especially with those weird percussion noises in the verses. Who would wanna hear this song at a concert be honest. It is very relaxing and i won't lie i was suffering an anxiety attack wen i first heard it and am starting to feel better and rock and roll love affair did the same but thats because they are calm songs written by my favorite not because they are actually amazing songs. But the girl singing can sing and the song in my opinion is not something i could play on my prince cravings but maybe if it were written by someone else i'd like it alot more.

Wish Prince sang it. But it's possible it wouldn't have worked in his voice. Unfortunately without him singing lead, it'll probably get played about 4 times and then end up tucked away in a forgotten folder for the next 20 years.

I'm assuming this one was shared for free before going on sale at the 3rdEyeGirl page, so that people would know Prince isn't the lead singer before purchasing.

This is the most I've liked a new Prince song since 2009.

Someone mentioned the singing sounded a bit like Pat Benetar, and I would have to agree (great rock singer - I have her in my collection), but still her own voice. I like these girls, go, go, go...

Had a feeling something would happen today, going to work this morning, a truck advertising the name "Hannah Ford" passed by, just a coincidence............................

Sweet jebus this song sucks. A band that isn't playing together, bland lyrics that seem to be taken from some rubbish selfhelp book,...

I listened to the song in the video clip by Jake (quality is not perfect, but definitely good enough to tell this a completely new direction from Prince). If you really want to give it a label, I'd actually call it indie-rock/pop. I think I'll really dig the track.

So, what's the latest news? Jester keeps linking to 3rdeyegirl, but there's nothing on there yet! Any other way of getting hold of a WAV download of this song?

Oh, and Jester: Congratulations, man! I've never been a blog-watcher, but I could tell from yours posts here on the org at least, that you are a very warm-hearted enthusiast, which seems to definitely have paid off.
