impossible to say, i think. everything up to 1995 i've listened to at least a couple hundred

times if not more. the parade album alone i must have listened to for 300 times at least

but when i try to think of a single song, the one that comes to mind first is "dolphin" which

i taped from radio at the absolute hight of my fandom and listened to at least 200 times or

more before the album was finally released, after which i listened to it a even more since it

was finally in good soundquality. then there's the 100 odd times i must have watched the vid

for it.

It's amazing to me how the REALLY GOOD STUFF inavoidable ends up being what the fans listen to most. (i.e. "Good Love", "Computer Blue", "Superfungycalifragisexy" etc.).

Some of those lists you've guys have posted contain exactly the songs that really dig deep into you (as opposed to just being the hits).

It's impossible for me to tell what that song would exactly be. I've been a fan for 20 years and it sort of matters how easy it has been to play something on a repeat depending on the format (tape / LP / CD / MP3 etc.). Maybe "Uptown"?

I know that the song I've been listening to the most for the last couple of years is the SOTT movie version of "If I Was Your Girlfriend". That always shows up on my favourites on Youtube and I end up clicking on it more often than not. Oh, and I've been playing "Adore" on the keys a lot myself.

If I had to remember one song, since I've became a fan in 2006, it's gotta be When Doves Cry. Must have listened to it almost every day and many times a day for a long time. Interesting question but i can't answer it. Now if we were talking about the prince albums that we've listened too the most, that would be easy for me.

The answer to that question would be the album Prince. For many, many years that album was on constant rotation on my Record Players, 8 track Players, Cassette Players, Compact Disc players and Mp3 players...
