And the eek wtf moment of the kiss on the cheek between Tamar and Prince.

It would have made far more sense if it had been with Wendy...

I think it was a great combination of songs, nice renditions, classy for that awards show, and definately Rock & Roll all the way thru, I'm glad he didn't break it up with a more rnb type song

Loved Purple Rain on this, and you could hear people gasp when Wendy opened Purple Rain with those chords

nod

If you're gonna do a throwback to Purple rain & the bandmember is right there, it makes sense to re-enact the scene with them rather than your latest buckfuddy... But what do I know... smile

yea, the audience got a treat that night, can almost feel the electricity!.. must have been thrilling!

is it possible that the reaction & vibe was so massive that he went on & organised '21 nights in london'?

I saw the kiss on Tamar's cheek as insulting to Wendy & the Revolution. There was no need for the kiss during Purple Rain...it was as if he was deliberately removing the aura from the original Wendy kiss.

Prince is no where on this release. At least not on the UK version.

Best TV performance for me.

Totally blew me away.

Te amo guitar solo is awesome.

Fury finally played as it was meant to be; with passion.

The setlist was just perfect at the time. Mixture of new and classic songs

This is one thing that interests me, he has new players that perform the 'classics' but to hear the 'classic' players perform the 1990s and on music

I was thinking the same thing, but remember he's supposed to be "saved" now and he can't "associate himself with lesbians now, especially now that Wendy looks more butchy than she did before. I guess he thought it would be like kissing a man on the cheek. Honestly I never really got Tamar other than she was a distraction(and I don't mean romantically) while he was heading for divorce.

Who looked stiff?

I think because it was some kind of 'reunion' of sorts I can understand any kind of uncomfortableness

Wendy wasn't stiff at all to me, she was all over the stage, Sheila was loose too 4 someone in a hot evening gown,

I wonder what energy Prince put out to the band. Josh did look stiff

If it was me I would have put Tamar & the Twinz on a higher space behind the band like behind and to the side of Lisa, They definately looked good, but it was a bit of disctraction especially since the twinz were out on the 2nd then 4th song, maybe he should have closed with Purple Rain

and the leaving Tamar out on PR didn't make sense, the kiss was weak

Wendy came across stiff on the stage-she kind of moved like an old lady in contrast to ever one else.

I didn't see that, the guy on the bass definately was stiff (stayed in the same place the whole show)

and of course the keyboard players did move around(couldn't)

and can't compare with the dancers of course

If you look at the spacing they were given a lot of moving room and Wendy was on the end/edge of the stage

A lot of it could be about the band set up, but on the songs like Fur Purple Rain & Let's Go Crazy she was all over the stage
