What a funk marathon! It's good but half the time would've been enough. But it would be good to play at a party, wouldn't have to think about changing track for a long time.

When the singing is going on there is no depth or true compassion conveyed at all. It's like the song has been castrated?! The music jam is fun though.

It's a rehearsal jam!! will the band have a different energy playing to 20,000 screaming fans? Ya you can bet your ass.

It's not Shelby sharing, it's Prince giving instructions to share, since he's in Sacramento enjoying himself, he wanted to be nice to his fans I assume.

Yes I agree it doesn't sound that inspired but I'm glad that P is sharing this with us...still a lot of fun and a brand new free rehearsal..

Not removed in the past, must have been an error.

It's an okay performance of DOW, but not in the same league as the 90s performances. However, the overall mood of this version fits the other songs that have been on his recent setlists. It's just a chirpier, lighter version of it that doesn't sound too out of the place when played during a show that concentrates on his 1980s output.

i dont mean to be overly critical, and i saw prince in concert last year 5 times and each one was quite enjoyable, but all of these little snippets hes been giving us lately really feel kinda hollow or soulless or something

It's just a rehearsal jam, Like The Soul Psychodelacide or Feline ones that go on for about an hour.

It's not a definative statement it's just something he did working out the band, Glad he's using the 99 samples and the Nah ah ha sample. It's kinda like the slow light version he did at the emporium aftershow.

For everybody that wants him to open up the vaults release everything have every night available for download there will be alot of this like he said playing Higher with larry for 45 minutes.

If FBG or DFB released it we would be all over it.

I never thought I would hear a boring version of this but I now have. Very boring to me and the girls singing makes me cringe. I hated this and I have liked every version of this song that I have ever heard until this crap

Apparently you have never heard 80s and 90s rehearsals that have all the energy you could want.
