It's making me laugh how many of you are getting stroppy because some orgers (like myself) don't like this jam.

While I think it's pointless to dismiss something as 'crap' etc, without giving a reason, I don't see why we are not allowed to express our opinion on a forum. Regardless of whether it's a freely available Jam or not. Does this mean i'm not allowed to express my disappointment over Planet Earth, which was given away free with a newspaper?

What it boils down to is freedom of speech. if you don't like criticism, ignore it. You don't have to agree, but it doesn't give you the right to moan at people who do dislike it. We do understand it's free, but that doesn't mean we have to like it.

I hope not, I hope it's "just" that it's easy to talk trash anonymously about a celebrity on the internet. I usually ignore it, but there will be a certain thread or comment that really strikes you as particularly odd/rude/unfair - I suppose for you, it's this thread. For me, it was all the "why didn't P publicly comment about Whitney? he must be an arrogant selfish prick who doesn't care about her!"

I actually loved Tamar's voice and I like Shelby's voice, but she can be a bit too much to take at times. All her screaming and loud singing over shadows Prince alot and that's sad. Folks pay to see him-not her

Only 2 days ago here in the UK we had the battle rounds of our run of The Voice - I swear some of the 'big voiced' women were screeching so damn hard I had to turn down/ mute/ fast forward them outta the mix just to keep watching. Some times singers can try too damn hard. This, Imho, is what Shelby is doing.

I feel sorry for Liv and Elisa - they must be mighty pissed coz not only is Shelby drowning Prince out but them too - when is their turn?!

Wendy and Lisa may not have had the best voices but they complimented prince - I have to say I'm with you - I wouldn't wanna pay big bucks to see Shelby's band with prince providing back up

5 years ago I would've disagreed with this comment - i.e. O2 21 nights - I don't remember Shelby being overexposed or an issue back then and I loved the shows i attended (twins et al.)

However, how can prince not realise that the NPG is fast becoming the Shelby band with Prince the guitarist and back up singer - damn shame - it's been a looooooong 5 years and time to either replace Shelby or turn her mike down

Wendy & Lisa never sang lead live, and never overtook Prince's vocals. They also never lead the crowd through endless chants that simply took away the seriousness of the concert. For example, I love Elton John, but he joined Prince's band and simply chanted all the time, and took lead vocals on cover songs, it would be a waste of talent. Prince is wasting Shelby's talent on giving him less to do. It's obvious somebody isn't willing to do the work.

Have U ever once thought that Prince cares about these people? That he gets joy being around them. It was obvious that he was very very close once 2 Tony M & loved being in his company.
