Or maybe he just played on it and thinks he should be credited.

Maybe he should have got something in writting. Since he did not he needs to button his lip.

Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson found himself in the hot seat on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live. When Andy Cohen asked Questlove if he had ever not been credited for his contribution to an album, he said Prince hadn’t credited him on Prince’s One Night Only album. Apparently, Thompson sat in on drums for a song and didn’t receive any recognition. ?uestlove isn’t tripping though. He later said, “There’s no need to get lawyers involved.”

On the other hand, he wasn’t so nice to Tina Fey. Questo commented that Tina Fey and The Roots haven’t bonded like most Philadelphians do when they meet each other. Check out the clip below. Was Questo right to bring that up on national television or should he have handled that in person?

"?uestlove did an interview a few years ago where he talks about the time he and D'Angelo, who was one of the biggest R&B artist at the time, went to Prince's studio to jam.

He said that naturally, they were SUPER excited to just be in the same room playing instruments with Prince.

After a while though, he said Prince begin to lecture him and D'Angelo and they weren't trying to hear it.

They snuck out the back when Prince left the room.lol

If he just sat in and played a drum part that Prince wrote, I don't really think he has much of a case.

But if he actually came up with it - like created part of a song and didn't get credit for that, well then that's different.

In total though I don't really see why he named names and brought this stuff up publicly anyway.

Prince thanked him in his own lil way when he invited ?uestlove back on stage during the highly successful W2A tour in NY early last year. So he needs to miss me with all of that. Prince has "special" ways of thanking people. U just have to read between the lines...

eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince

doesn't matter who wrote a part or the entire song, musicians are supposed 2 be credited 4 their contributions 2 playing the material. like michael b, sonny t are credited 4 their work on lotusflow3r

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I still wonder why he waited this long to even talk about how he didn't get paid. Like don't he and the Roots get paid to perform on Jimmy Fallon's tired show?
