Thank you Joe, indeed, and he/she is greatly confused. Especially since his/her own post with that clip of "Replicas" from YouTube I quoted on page one explicitly concurs with my sentiment, LOL. If I hadn't watched that video and read the other comparisons posted here, I wouldn't have even discovered just how much Prince "borrowed" from Numan, hence my subsequent "James Richard Numan" comment. To say Numan also influenced that 1999 photo may be somewhat farfetched, but other than that, I wasn't exaggerating.

why would he make up something like that?...and its obvious that numan was an influence...i just didnt know how much....
