Well...it features a video for "The Word" and "The Dance" and both videos are, quite simply, cool.

Nothing ground breaking but Prince in front of a piano playing the Dance....you really don't need much more.

I love the Word would love to see the video for that !!!

Just another project.......that the public never see.

OK...what makes you think this leak is Prince's work, and not just the editor adding to his resumé, as Marco81 suggested? I'm curious as to why you think Prince would leak this now, as opposed to 4-6 years ago.

Doubtless, it was another weird confection - the 3 Chains Of Gold video springs to mind.

But there were some great music videos in that, and it looks like there were some in this too.

I would love to see the 3121 promo that's hinted at here.

One of the things I loved most about Prince in the WB days was the "visualisation" of his music - the videos, the tours, the appearances.

These days things are super-fragmented, and we only ever seem to see a fraction of this sort of thing, where we used to see a whole multi-media picture (if that's not an oxymoron).

So its a shame to think that these things exists, they just never get finished and released.

I don't care about a script or storyline if it's showing him playing in the studio, on stage, hanging out, whatever, that makes it worthwhile to me. Just those short clips on the guitar and drums were cool and I'd like to see more of that, plus The Dance & The Word videos.

It's not like The Undertaker and all the other 'music movies', all have great storylines or scripts, but there's great music to make up for it and watching him is entertaining, even when he's being corny. He can make me laugh just with an expression, and even make me think 'oh god, Prince...wha?', then floor me while playing or singing, that's FUN & ENTERTAINING.

Co-sign. Many of his movie projects were really corny, but enjoyable nonetheless.

That being said, I thought The Beatiful Experience movie was a little masterpiece....the storyline, the videos, the performances, the songs...just great and so ahead of its time.

The Undertaker would have been stronger without Vanessa Marcil vomitting but it is another underrated gem.

I prefer The Beautiful Experience a bit over SOTT because 1. the performances are more or less REALLY live and not lip synched like in SOTT.

and 2. the storyline is better than the SOTT storyline.

Then again, SOTT is just SOTT and will always be my favorite concert movie. But I liked it better when I was young and gullible and still believed it was a live performance.

I've never seen The Beautiful Experience, but have seen SOTT, which I enjoyed moreso than "Under The Cherry Moon." UTC was a little too minstrel for me in many parts of that movie. "Graffiti Bridge" was ok, but the "Purple Rain" movie and "SOTT" were the best out of all 4.

From the snippets of "3121" it seems like it could do well, especially with fans, and the music of the 3121 cd, some tracks from Musicology, some from LF3, Planet Earth and 20Ten would be cool.

i agree with u there & nothing leaks unless prince wants it to.. considering dr fb doesn't blab, he's given a scoop on a few details.

what i've seen looks like a typical prince headfuck, same vibe as other 'movies' he's done ..but of course i'd still watch & enjoy it

i LOVE his output over this period, a combination of vids would be very cool.. i recall that million days video, prince alone, limousine, big hair, confused women running around applying each other's makeup & a kid thrown in2 the mix
