"Brother Maurice'll be 'round in a minute with a bucket; filled in it, squirrel meat. The blood real good if you drink it real fast, but the aftertaste just last and last." etc...

This is clearly a metaphor for ecstacy as it was known he was experimenting with it frequently at the time. Ecstacy is known to make you wanna dance and fuck. At the time, Prince was going through one set of tumultuous professional obstacles after the other and his release from this stuff was well-documented in his music.

So when did they serve extasy in buckets? And when did it contain blood.

Nooo this is clearly NOT about extasy at all.

There was only one reporter who claimed she went to Paisley Park and found Prince and Cat having a trip despite the numerous P lyrics against drug taking before and after.

Do you really believe the story of one reporter? After all they NEVER make stuff up do they!

oh god-why do newbies come on here??

ITS ABOUT E ...the question has been answered

A question for the ages, but if we were to approach everything with that attitude, we'd never get any answers.

It matters insofar as its a fact. It does not matter to convince the person of said fact. However, it's a discussion board, so I mean... It ain't like what we're doin' here is of dire importance. None of this shit matters.

This post claims Cat was the first to give him X, in (December) 1987. http://prince.org/msg/7/2...sg_5063678

That's from Cat's mouth.

Superfunkycalifragisexy was written in Mid-1986.

So, it could be about ecstasy, but not because he was on it. I wouldn't go so far as to call it "fact", unless you have the some sources?
