AWWWWW biggrin biggrin biggrin I'm lovin' the honesty from the males up in here. Probably one of the most interestingly honest threads on the board. There is truly nothing wrong with feeling some attraction towards the man, his style, or his music. I think the fact that he's a bad ass pretty boy also helps the cause of attraction. Any normal looking joe on a guitar most likely wouldn't fit the script.

When I met a 'straight' man and a 'bisexual' man that were Prince fans for the first time, out of my ignorance, I could've sworn they were digging Prince below the waist. But that wasn't the case, because they both just loved his music, his style, and his persona. Nothing sexual about it. If anything besides his music, they learned from Prince how to please, somewhat-talk to, and pleasure a woman on a slicker sense wink

Yes, at 19, I finally saw the Revolution, a legendary band. And I talked to Wendy!!! biggrin In addition to seeing Prince, I have now lived life. Thank you Purple People!!

Don't get it twisted! I don't get a tingling sensation in my drawers when I look at Prince.

But as a heterosexual man I find Prince attractive.

To me , Prince look's half maleO(+> half female.

On the Rolling Stones magazine cover I don't know who's prettier Prince or Vanity.

I love the depth of his lyrics. The versatility of instruments he plays. His smooth, cool, intelligent, shy, femmine, wildside. The highheels, hair, and the close he wear.

Sometimes I have to check myself. I feel a grown ass man shouldn't act the way I do over a celebrity. I'm a Prince-aholic!

I get it what you're saying. I also find that Prince does have a very bright light surrounding him. It's quite magnetic. You said that your attraction for Prince isn't sexual, so i think it is completely ok to feel the way that you are feeling. I wonder...perhaps he has his femenine and masculine sides well balanced? He's a pretty man no doubt.

What a wonderful coincindence that you're also a Lakers fan. biggrin

I myself am not attractED to Prince. I can see, however, how some people would find him attractive. Women more so than gay dudes. I think he's too feminine for the gay dudes I have known. They seem to prefer manlier guys. That's just from the guys I have known. I don't think my wife finds him particularly attractive, but I never asked her. As for this thread getting locked, you lock-the-thread fanatics need to chill out. You all get so uppity about stupid shit. If this guy wants to post a thread you think is silly, don't look at it. Some of you come off as little kids who like to run-go-tell. It's really uncalled for.

Yeah, the lock-the-thread fanatics need to chill chill pill , and stay out if they don't like a thread.

in my native country our young man look very feminine also because they are very metrosexual, dressed nice and very groomed.

You not gonna see our men wear snickers except when they play sports. And yes, they carry men's purses.

American people think that they're gay because in USA average men don't know how to do those things, except gay men, black men, spanish men, or european origin men.

Usually because of insecurities. Attractive people are supposed to be seen as more desirable therefore being hit on more and possibly having various partners ie unfaithful.

I've told this by girls, that they couldn't date me because I'm a pretty boy with those similar explainations.

It's complicated. In short, yes. I'm not sexually attractred to him, but I do find him physically attractive, among other things (intellectually attractive, musically attractive, etc...)

Gay dude here..but not into PRINCE SEXUALLY...its deeper than that. Been in the same room with him, (not just a concert) made eye contact, there was a connection..but it was more than sexual...he is a trip. if I had to pick one era I would be into him sexually..would be UTCM. JAKEASAURUS/SPINLIGHT more my type!..for real?...for reals..

Ditto!!

Agreed! There's no problem in thinking a man is attractive, it's just admiration. So you like Prince, so what? biggrin

I'm drawn to his enigma, aura, presence, and talent. I guess you could say I find him attractive in the sense that I think he's a good-looking dude with incredible style, fashion sense, etc and that inspires my own style and look.

But I'm straight, so I don't want to fuck him.

There isn't really an effective metaphor. The closest thing I can think of is that Prince, and Michael Jackson both mean to me what Jesus means to hardcore Christians. Except without all the supernatural magical crap they believe in.

It's a stretch to think that because someone likes an artist's music they're attracted (or "attractive 2") to them. I know he's an attractive guy, but so are lots of other people. I've been in the same room with him, and I was in awe of him because of the percentage of my life I've spent listening to his music and how it (the music) affects me. But I'd feel that same awe if I were to meet Paul McCartney or Tom Hanks or Tony Soprano or Howard Stern. BTW, having met a few celebrities, for the most part they aren't anything to get excited about.

Such a shame. sad I hope someday you find a girl that doesn't have this type of insecurity.

I hear this type of advice from friends too (Don't date pretty men. They're trouble). With people like Bon Jovi and Christopher Reeve (RIP) having average looking wives, I've always wondered if pretty people of both genders are just being stereotyped.

Despite how it's worded, I'm assuming the OP is asking if the fellas here find Prince attractive.

For my part (and as a HUGE fan since the start of his professional career), I've never found Prince sexually attractive in the least. Not even back during his whorish heyday, lol. When I look at him objectively, I see a small guy with a long neck and a big head (...who has always worn a ton of makeup for nearly as long as I've been aware of him). Not ugly by any means - even cute, in a certain way; just not someone I would be particularly attracted to... ya know... if it wasn't PRINCE bow . In which case, I would not be worthy anyway, lol.

Nevertheless, what I admire about Prince is how he's damned nearly developed a science out of taking what God has given him and presenting it in the most aesthetically pleasing way possible, by having his shirts and jackets designed with high collars to mask his neck, never seeming to wear the same outfit twice, and by wearing hairstyles that dip past his brow to minimize the size of his head. The cocky attitude completes the illusion, along with rarely ever being seen in public without some completely dazzling bombshell at his side.

For me, I can honestly say my attraction to Prince has always been about the music (first and foremost), his sense of style & humor, his personality, and his quick, creative (ever changing) mind.

And also to the guys who say they are not gay but are still attracted to him.....Yes I can se how he can appeal to both sexes most definately... but no matter how feminine he might be sometimes he still has clear masculine traits....ya'll just ignore his facial hair, hairy chest, deep voice and the fact that in almost every outfit his dick is struggling for air.....like that doesn't even matter at all?...This is some strong sexual power Prince has over us for real lol

Without it being sexual.

A lot of it is stereotyping, but at the same time people are drawn to other visually.

Some think with their heads other with their bodies

A lot of 'attractive' people don't even live by that, other are actually insecure or shy etc etc etc

so the idea of them/us(smile) being hit on a lot or having a lot of partners etc doesn't fit.

Honestly I like all the Sexy Mtha Fkr image. Rock Guitar, Dancing & His Musical Smarts and Paisley Park. I've had him at #1 since the summer of 85. He has influenced my spiritual direction, influenced the way I dress, also made me look at the Music business in a entirely different way. I was a child of the 60s, Loved The Beatles, Motown, Family Stone, & anything funky from the 70s. He is all that rolled into one to me. A living Musical HERO. Im NOT straight and Im NOT sexually attracted by him. I love him though, as much as someone that has never met him can. lol

I do have dreams (not wet ones) with him in them, he is always fabulous too.

LoveSexy discribes him very well, IMO
