I just love how the song builds mucially with each lyric, then just explodes at the end. His multi layered vocals, the screaming guitar...FLAWLESS!

The song is a beautiful music orgasm!

I was there at Paisly the night the video was filmed. It was pretty cool, even though he was just lip synching to it.

"Housequake?" Great jam! But EVERYONE loves Housequake!

Great Jam!! How old are u? In the day, when SOTT was released, Housequake was the song that validated P as the next in the FUNK bloodline!!

"...and the kick drum is the fault, you gotta rock this mutha". No way this is not liked by the masses.
"If you wanna feel the FUNK....then you have to know the SOUL!!!"-----(Up and Down...just like a seesaw, Back and Forth...oh girl I'm fallin)

shake Yep. Awesome cheese fuck. If u don't like cheesy, you don't like Prince. He is one cheesy motherfucker. Listen to The One, All the Midnights in the World, Most Beautiful Girl in the World, Take Me With U, and about 100000 others.

Maybe you just don't like Prince's cheesey side. But it's hard to avoid...
I for one think this song is a sublime pop ballad arrangement. Fair enough if you don't like the style, but it's a freakin masterful exploration of that style.
biggrin
