I think it would be a beautiful thing, seeing Mr.Nelson teach the wee ones on the glory of Jesus Christ and the lives he has touched. He seems to know quite a bit about The Bible and I think secretly he is one of those people who loves kids! What do you think? biggrin

In all seriousness: if he's teaching from the New World Translation (of the bible), then he'd make a good teacher. Anyone would if they're teaching from so said scriptures. I would not attend nor my son because I am not Neo-Christian.

geez you do alot of profiling
but anyways, it doesn't matter what archaic translated Bible, what toungue, what branch of Christianity Prince takes from for the only thing that matters is whether he's a believer or denier. It's very black and white when it comes to the truth.. and judging from Prince's lyrics to lifestyle these days.. it seems to me he's doin good.

geez you do a lot of assuming
I'm not going to debate translations either. God gives the truth, but JW's read a translation that is SO far off from anything, no one else will touch it....except the JW, who translated it themselves. JW isn't Christianity, as far as I'm concerned. The Holy Spirit is a teacher, among other things. I'm glad I know that. I know Christians know that too.

Well hey when it comes down to it, Prince is making effort to do his duty on Earth assigned from God which is bringing people closer to Him through his music

The wonderful thing about Jesus is that He would forgive you of this. He got the same kind of sentiment thrown at him when they nailed Him on the cross. "Father, forgive them, they know not what they do."

I understand your clear repulsion of God's Witnesses, but looking at the broader picture-
What commandment that was Prince has broken since he was spiritually reborn again?

And regarding these 5 words, a verse found its way to me

Don't Blame Christ...
He's preaching cause division? I will get to that later let look at ourselves and how we teach others before we cast the first stone. I came here to voice my opinion about music because Prince is my favorite musician and others as well. Because some one thinks diffently about religion it's a big thing. Prince being a Jehovah's Witness is not the case. Prince was not a Jehovah's Witness always. And the thread about Jesus and the little boy can run anybody that beleives in Christ away. I don't see why people put Jesus in their problems, Jesus didn't do anything... he helps us. Some humans blame Jesus for everything and he understands this. Prince actions has caused division and the people that can't forgive Prince moves on so they both have to blame. Prince has many fans all over the world that never heard about Prince.Org. So he is not losing fans. The first thing people say is "I have a right of speech sometimes." You have to tread on egg shells or you will get "Banned". Or if you feel like you don't want to make known "who you are" you get "Banned". So let me break it down Void because I'm so close to Jesus. How can anyone accuse anybody when they do the same. If you see someone drowning i guess you just let them drown and not try to help them. I think that's the best truth bait I can come up with. Listen
I came here to learn how websites work. I had five people say don't join because they know how this website works. Some say the orgnotes are read, so i tried it and i won't tell it online. So basicially you got nothing because I'm very private. Prince I love your music. It makes alot of people happy including me. I have went out my way to show you, (if your even reading this how much) I owe some people apologies. I just want to see if some of the people were right. Dance is the way of life so live it. D.Sacrifice Remember i'm and orger just like you.

Firstly, I don't think P would be good with kids, getting his hands dirty and all, painting pics with them etc. Or who knows, maybe he paints Community centres as charity work and we dont' know about it.

We cannot blame P for causing division when he speaks of his religion. Those who do not believe choose to create the division, not the other
way around.

The funny thing is about believers of all faiths and in that, I include the non believers, is that, if the ocean represented absolute truth, we all have only ONE cup to fill from that ocean, one cup being our individual capacity.

However, no matter how much we fill our cup, it remains a limited sample of the ocean. Some poison their cup; some take a lot and some take a little, some take nothing. But still people around the world fight about who's cup is the best cup and why each cup is the correct viewpoint of the ocean.

When in fact none of us have the complete ocean in our cup.

JW believe only 10-15 people know how to interpret the Bible. They are the ones who write the Watchtower, which is why that publication is so important. (Sounds a little like the Catholic religion who believe that the Pope is the only person who can interpret the Bible).

JW's don't celebrate any holidays including Christian holidays such as Easter and Christmas because they have Pagan roots.

They are not allowed blood transfusions believing that this is the "eating of blood" not allowed in the Bible for Gentiles. JW's salute no flags of any nation.

JW's are not allowed to associate or talk to non JW's except those they are trying to convert.

They do not believe in the Trinity. Instead, they follow a strict monotheism, in which: Jehovah is the Supreme Being. Jesus is the Son of God, a created being. Christ is believed to have originally existed in a pre-human state as the Archangel Michael. He later took human form as a man like any other person, except that he was sinless at birth and remained so throughout his earthly life. Jehovah’s Witnesses do not believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ. They believe that after the crucifixion, Christ died and was resurrected as an invisible, non-material, glorious, spirit creature. They believe that Jesus appeared on earth after his resurrection in a special body that Jehovah created for him.The Holy Spirit they believe, is not a separate entity, but is simply a force: the method by which God interacts with the world.

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that a person is the soul the Bible speaks of, and when a person dies nothing lives on, the person is dead and is conscious of nothing.

They totally deny the existence of the traditional Christian view of Hell. Satan is regarded as having created the concept of Hellfire in order to turn people against God. They believe that hell is the "common grave of mankind" where people go when they die. They are not conscious there. Unbelievers simply cease to exist at death. Believers remain in death until the resurrection.
The Heavenly Kingdom took effect in 1914 with the invisible enthronement of Christ as King. A little flock or Anointed Class of about 135,300 people currently occupies it. All were selected after Christ's ascension into heaven at Pentecost (33 AD) and during subsequent centuries. The selection of the full complement of 144,000 was completed in 1935. Some 8,700 are still living on earth. They will spend eternity as spirit creatures in heaven with God and Christ and will rule over the other Jehovah’s Witnesses who remain on earth. Those spending eternity on earth are what Jehovah’s Witnesses call the Great Crowd or Other Sheep

They reject the traditional symbol of Christianity, the cross, as being of pagan origin. They translate the Greek word from the Christian Scriptures "stauros" as "torture stake", and believe that Jesus was crucified on a single upright wooden stake with no crossbeam. They view the cross as an Idol and wearing or displaying one is considered idol worship.

(It doesn't matter WHAT Jesus died on, the important thing in Chritianity is Jesus was ressurected!!)

After reading all this, keep Prince away from my kids lol
