The more I read the more I need to lie down! Have been awaiting the new message jingle to go off in my inbox stating tix 4 sale...

However... this seems more and more like 2007 over again... the one-off show at KoKo Camden when P was in town so he could launch the 21 Nights. Maybe, just maybe, he's planning some Parisien shows later this, early next, year...

So do I spend £500 to go to this one-off (2-off, or maybe 3 if monday at La Cigale is true) or wait and go to a handful of "regular" shows IF the announcement is made?

Whoever said their head hurts, can I join u? confused

However, the big difference here is that we knew about the 21 nights BEFORE the Koko gig went on sale. This time round, its a risk passing on these shows in the hope of a residency. By the way, that venue looks gorgeous but the sound will be appalling. Google image it and take a look from the inside. They don't make concert halls out of glass for a reason!

You can't be serious now, are you?

No, of course not .. who would expect a dedicated fan site that you paid $77 for to provide any information on concerts? Providing fascinating insights into the homecoming parties of BriaN is enough for me wink

We're going a bit off topic here, but the sound will bounce around all over the place in there.

I have been confirmed by friends who attended parties and concerts there that the sound is indeed terrible. he may have fallen in love with the place (and rightly so: it really is beautiful) but this is NOT suitable for concerts, full stop. That's a shame and I hope the strong rumours that there is more to come in Paris over the next few days/weeks will turn out to be true....

That's a shame, it looks like such a beautiful venue and great location too.
Hope they get around any potential sound issues somehow and that everyone has a blast!

Then I predict that Prince's mood is going to be awful. He hates sound problems confused

Of all people he should know that it's impossible to get good sound in a glass venue...

Hi guys,
First of all, thanks for all the updates.
Does anyone have any idea what the rules are for collecting tickets that we'll book online? Am I too optimistic in thinking we'll be able to pick them up on the day from the Fnac store on the Champs Elysees?

it gives you various options. i would recommend e-ticket. which you print off. i also think you can take your payment card and collect the tix.

From Drfunkenberry.com

http://www.drfunkenberry.com/

Prince attended yet another fashion show this time for Galliano, after one the day before, and another one the day before that, and another one the day before that, and the day before that….um…I heard he was at Target? Man, I can’t be everywhere but I swear he was on aisle 31. Or was that 21? Ahh, nevermind.

He kind of has that look in this photo of “She’s The DJ, I’m The Rapper” but then again that was from the Artist Formerly Known As The Fresh Prince and our Prince is still taking names and making lists.

We hear through our unofficial connections that Prince is slated to be on the Canal+ Television show on October 14th. This is Prince’s first appearance since that Youtube agreement I reported on a month ago. So, hmm, will we be able to see that performance in the U.S.? You know I am going to try.

As for his upcoming concert appearances, here is what I know and have heard; (Will leave out other things and just stick to what is supposed to go down)

(INFO striked out here)

UPDATE: I am hearing tix will now be on sale on the web site and store tomorrow October 9th. Tix prices could be higher as well and that could have played into the delay. There will be a 2 ticket limit. As soon as more information becomes available, I will let you know.

Listen, you guys know I dig Prince, and I wish you guys good luck and hope everyone can look out for each other here. He is the ultimate musician, performer, everything, and in the end, it will be all worth it.

You know I have a special place in my black heart for all you Paris people and all of you overseas!

Prince, kick that french bootay and I hope everyone gets to go!-Dr.FB

Great ! mad I know people who've taken the day off to be able to book tickets.

How am I going to find a hotel room in time with such short term notice ?

Paris is Lovely I have been there many times, believe me you won't want to sleep

Its even lovlier at night. I didnt bother to get a hotel when i went to montreux they were to bloody expensive. But if you really want a hotel I am sure if you google hotels in paris you will find something reasonable.
