plus the first show which should start around 5PM will be during the day. You can't dim the place until the sun dims itself. I'm not much of a fan of daylight shows.

Update Dr FB:

UPDATE: From a commenter (thx Lydia!): The tix will be sold tomorrow at FNAC stores for the concerts on Sunday. Both shows are open to the public. Ticket prices are 100 Euros for G.A. and 130 euros for VIP

But what is the source, where can we "subscribe to a reservation alert", who says the tickets go on sale at FNAC today for 100 or 130 euro's? Why not at www.ticketnet.fr or www.livenation.fr? Why do people at Funkenberry state things for facts without mentioning where they got it from?

Tickets:

Some places (FNAC) are saying 2PM CET some are saying 11AM CET some are saying 5PM on the net... we'll know soon.

Wouldn't it be cool if Prince had some type of internet based "fan" site that would give us a bit of heads up? Something like a subscription based multimedia site. Hell I'd be willing to pay $77 a year for that type of service... *sigh*

You can subscribe to being alerted (by email) to when the tickets go on sale here: http://www.infoconcert.co....html#null
I use the site regularly for other tix and they are normally very good. Although I cannot say how they will cope with this short notice. But at least they have the shows on there. I can't see them on fnac.com at all yet.

I just had the FNAC ticket booth on the phone: the seats will be sold at 14h on the website and 15h in store. By cons, still no info on ticket prices ... Besides, I invite you to read a half page in Le Parisien on Prince: they talk about rumors that Prince would remain longer than expected to Paris full of Room type Olympia, Cicada, Zenith ...

Another rumor circulating is that in fact Prince will organize a 30 night stint in Paris. He'll be on a tv show next Wednesday (Canal Plus, Le Grand Journal) there may be an announcement of the residency.

TV iTele just 5 minutes ago (Canal Plus subsidiary, and Le Parisien website) seems that there may be a press availability on Monday 12th of Oct. Again all very sketchy at the moment.

I'm asking me this question every day.

I want Blu Rays, SACD's from the last concerts and shows and not that poor quality videos there!

i am praying that he plays only a few hits and it is not so jazzy.

I was at La Fnac Châtelet at 9.18 this morning, no tickets are sold yet.

Hope to b at 14h (or is it 15h ?) at La Fnac again to buy tix for the two sunday shows.

For the non-French speakers : FNAC has added a button to the homepage of fnacspectacles.com to switch to the English version.

Not everything is translated, but at least the reservation process is in English then.

From Funkenberry :

I went in the Fnac store this mornig. Opening at 10am (in france), the Fnac staff told us we’ll have to wait beetween 11 am to 2 pm to get tix.
Finally at 11 pm, we had the info confirmed that tix will only be sold the 9th, probably around midday.

so what about the online thingie? which is what i want to know. smile
