i kinda like it, the cgi isn't the best and the "showoff" between qtip that that chick was pointless. it couldve been edited more tightly 2 give it some edge. i wish Prince did more in the vid too.

Very interesting. I just wish I liked the video. With that said, it's better than some of Prince's past videos. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

It's probably the most professional thing he's ever done and I'll give it props for that alone ![]() The Greatest Romance Ever Sold had a pretty slick video too, directed by Malik Syeed (one of Hype Williams' proteges) I think and had some special effects too... it even got played on TRL (if only once). And it even made sense as far as the storyline was concerned--portraying a back-and-forth relationship on the rocks. I think the Chocolate Box video looks great. I am no video expert, but the imagery is crystal clear and it all looks good to my eyes. How good does a music video have to be anyway?
Is that Q-Tip running around chasing that girl? To me, all I can think about when I watch it is that it looks like Chris Brown chasing Rhianna and jumping on roofs.

![]() ![]() I thought the video was great. It appeared to me that Prince was some sort of mafia god-father type figure watching over the two of them. Also I got from the lyrics, that she's the type of girl that wants a box of chocolates everyday, but she cant get with him unless she has a J-O-B.
