Problem I have answering a quesion like this is that when Prince does something "Crap"-you kind of know why he has done it. For example Arms of orion could have been done by someone else but his bad stuff always seems like he is saying "I can do this too". To be honest I think this is the case with a lot of his music post'95. It's as if he is proving that he can do that crap better and reemphasising why he made his choices in the 80's. What prince never gets is that outside maybe people like us most people don't care. Once you are judged in a certain light it is nigh on impossibble to change peoples opinion and the irony is if he came out with the best pop song ever-those who dislike him will call him a hypocrite-those who do like him will see him as being substandard
