What's Brixton?

Similar to Detroit...black folks and ghetto ..lol jks

Brixton is part of London, nice Venue where P played before.

Good Memories.

Yeah, Brixton holds much more, and you always get a good view on the floor there. Indigo is nicer just cos it's new and in a more upmarket area but I still love Brixton.

For free again.
Oh yes.
Handed over by P. himself.
Why not.
He should do that.

how great would it be if prince offered the live disc as a free download as an advance peek at the book package, then threw a few added tracks on to the disc packaged with the book as an added incentive for the folks who downloaded the free album? it seems to be all the rage right now, but knowing prince, he's not usually down with "the rage"...

Yes I know.
Defenetly he's not usually down with "the rage".
He attempts to hide
wherever its possible.
Now puttin out a live thing
it's kinda weird.
Someway I'm confused about.
Good for fans, though!

The following text is taken from thelondonpaper.

Prince is getting intimate

IF YOU thought you had seen the last of Prince after his 21 shows last year then think again, the buzz can reveal the diminuitive star is in talks to play another gig this autumn.

But this one will be a small, more intimate show, to tie in with the release of a book called 21 nights.

He's releasing the book as a retrospective from last years gigs, a source tells the thebuzz, "BUT he wants to play a show to go with it. his team is attempting to find suitable venues for it".

I can think of a few nice small venues in CAMDEN KOKO THE JAZZ CAFe, only coz they are a 10 minute walk from where i live

He'll play again in London eek
That means I'll see him again. Strange and crazy.

maybe... u never know with Prince

i'm all for prince making this year's offerings all live material. i think he needs to take some time with his next studio album, and with the excitement over the O2 shows and coachella, i think it would make for a nice stopgap treat for fans. nod

Does that mean that if he does play London it will be around the release of the book...?

Thats Sept / Oct? That right?
Sounds perfect to me... Koko was amazing, even though it meant leaving work early, getting an overnight babysitter and then driving a few hundred miles (one way) and then back the next early morning ready for work.....

I happily do that ALL OVER AGAIN!!!! HOORAY!! lol

I was at an aftershow

I'd love to see him again.

Although with the recent upsurge in his popularity there's gonna be a lot of people trying to get a small amount of tickets.. neutral

It would be good cool if those who pre-ordered the book i.e. true fans got purple tickets inside the book or a link for first grabs of the tickets to reduce the number of touted tickets.

YES! I was just thinking something similar, there will be huge demand this time around, so some kind of selection would be nice cool

Does he still have our email addresses from 3121?? biggrin

What a bunch of lucky friggin Brits. He might as well just move there. He can call it 365 nights in London with shows in his Living Room and after-shows in his bedroom.

The last KOKO gig was a total lottery...my friend and I were both trying to get tickets as soon as they went on sale on ticketmaster. The website just ground to a halt for me...fortunately, somehow it worked for my friend so i got to go!...less than ten minutes later it was listed as sold out and tickets were going for £500 on ebay (though the government are bringing in legislation about that apparently, so it may not be a problem in September!)

It'll be a even more of a rush in both senses of the word trying to get the tickets this year i think!

ooo, i didn't think of a 3121 mailout...that'd be good!...and surely better than having a bunch of record company idiots who are just there to snort cocaine and get hammered like the last indigo aftershow...surely a waste of tickets!
